Just looking at starting TE, the truly good ones are all freaks athletically. Vernon Davis, jimmy graham, and Hernandez. But even guys like kyle Rudolph, Gresham, or Fred Davis are athletic too. You still have a few big ugly TE like paulsen out there, but they are far and few between. I know that's a small list, but even the guys that don't scream athletic when they play are still doing more than paulsen.
Is there a place for paulsen, yes. But he just won't be doing anything spectacular IMO and won't be more than a backup at best
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
I'm sure D.C. native Josh Cribbs wouldn't want to leave Cleveland to come back home to play for a vastly superior QB, return punts and kicks for touchdowns, and run 3 or 4 trick plays a game and the occasional option look!
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
It would be like having Brandon Banks, if he was taller and much, much good-er.
Can we afford Andre Smith?
If Sammy Watkins tests positive for drugs and slaps some ladies how far could he fall in the draft?
Idk.. His play is pretty athletic at times, but that clip of him dancing after they lost the Super Bowl plays in my mind and stops me from calling him athletic...
Gronk dances the night away after losing in Superbowl 46.
Dancing in a circle while LMFAO performs for the after party .
I do not own anything in this video, the song is not owned by me!

Lol, the swing-and-miss rate on drafted WRs is better????
Some Redskin free agent WRs of the past: Henry Ellard, Laveranues Coles, Ricky Sanders
Redskin high draft pick WRs: Desmond Howard, Rod Gardner, Malcolm Kelly, Devin Thomas...can you name a good one since Art Monk?
Other WRs signed as no-name FAs before they became stars: Welker, Steve Smith, Wallace, Amendola,
[MAD] Devin Thomas is a Super Bowl Champion [MAX]
Ryan Clady (DEN) - OT - After several seasons as one of the better left tackles in the league, Clady is on his expiring rookie contract. After turning down a 5-year, $50 million offer from the Broncos prior to this season, there is some indication that he's looking for something more in the Joe Thomas ballpark [7 years $84 million]. It's unlikely the Broncos, or any other team, will be willing to go that high, but if his demands persist, it brings the franchise tag into play.
Stop being a bitch and take 6 years, $63 million from the Redskins. I'm sure we can find a way to get our math wizards to swing that.
Then we'll just re-negotiate Trent Williams' contract in about 2 years to make it more cap-friendly. RGIII with time in the pocket + more familiarity with offense and his playmakers = NFC rape train
Contract: 6 yr(s) / $60,000,000
Signing Bonus $3,000,000
Average Salary $10,000,000
End Year: 2015
Free Agent: 2016 / Restricted
Base Salary S. Bonus Misc. Bonus Cap Hit
2010 2,398,000 500,000 2,898,000
2011 7,852,000 500,000 1,500,000 9,852,000
2012 11,000,000 500,000 2,500,000 14,000,000
2013 5,000,000 500,000 2,500,000 8,000,000
2014 7,250,000 500,000 3,250,000 11,000,000
2015 10,250,000 500,000 3,500,000 14,250,000
We wouldn't need to field a secondary if we had Clady. RGIII with time = 50 points/game.
Just draft talented young secondary players and pay them almost nothing on their rookie contracts, that's what I would do.
We're letting anyone start topics now, huh?
Also Devin Thomas couldn't hold a candle to my man HANK
can he play DB ?
Looks like London's consecutive game streak is coming to an end. Hell of a run for a MLB.
Those asshole Broncos will probably slap the franchise tag on Clady, now that I think about it. Disgusting.
We'll just have to wait a year, then, to have the sickest bookend tackles in the league for RGIII.
I didn't realize Fletcher had suffered a possible head injury as well...
Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher was being evaluated by a neurologist for a possible head injury Thursday and missed practice for a second consecutive day, putting his 15-year cons...
Attitude Reflects Leadership
yea they mentioned this on 980 yesterday. I thought he had just pulled something. that's what it looked like on the sidelines too.
6+ hours of testing for balance issues sounds like a lot.
"The team didn't know about the balance problem until Monday, according to Shanahan. Fletcher attended practice on Wednesday but didn't take part, then limped off the field."
I don't see him playing. and I hope he isn't pushing himself to play for the sake of the streak.
Glad to see we'll be able to draft Honey Badger in the 6th round now
An injury will be the only thing that could keep him from being the biggest star in sports.
Last week's game was a lot of fun to watch despite the porous defense at the end. Best feeling loss in awhile.
I really don't care about the results at all anymore. Even when we lose late, half of the previous 3 hours were awesome to watch. A lifetime of Shane Matthews, Danny Wuerffel, Tony Banks, Patrick Ramsey, and Rex Grossman will do that to you. I'm guessing 2013 or 2014 will be different, but for now, watching the Redskins is just so god damn fun.
It'll be interesting to me to see if RGIII can read the defense with them buzzing around in these throwbacks
Remember those Steelers throwback jerseys that resemble bumble bee prison uniforms? Get ready to see 45 players suited up in them on Sunday, when the
Impromptu road trip to Pittsburgh to catch the game!
I'll be the asshole with an RG3 jersey and most likely a superman cape in southside tonight and tomorrow.
First time in Heinz Field, of course the weather will be shit, but I can't wait!
