Ray Lewis Close To ESPN Deal - 1/3 - ESPN is on the verge of adding Ray Lewis to its talent lineup. Multiple sources tell Sports Illustrated that the Ravens linebacker is close to signing a multi-year contract with the network. At ESPN, Lewis is expected to have a significant role on the network's "Monday Night Countdown" program, and be featured on multiple platforms, including ESPN Radio.....
Stop getting off topic asshole!
I got on StubHub as soon as I heard the news. I just have to be there. I can't tell you how many times this week I've been thinking about something completely unrelated and then had the thought "Holy shit, 52 is likely coming out of the tunnel at M@T for the last time Sunday and I'm going to be there" pop into my head, accompanied by the swirl of emotions you described. I probably would've bought a ticket even if I had to leave right after the intros.
Like you (I assume), it's hard for me to even remember a time when I didn't root for a football team led by Ray Lewis, so it feels like a small part of me will be walking off the field with him on Sunday. Investing that much emotion in someone I've never met who just happens to be paid handsomely to play a game while wearing my city's name may be lame, infantile, and a whole host of other negative adjectives, but screw it, this is why I love sports.
Just getting caught up but I'm shocked this post didn't garner more attention. I'm thinking this is sig worthy.
This thread has me emotionally spent. On the one hand, I really like Ray Lewis (not douche chill I'm weepy like, just like) but on the other hand, Ravens' fans inability to just ignore a troll (like Skins fans did with 286 and ____ last week) indeed interesting to watch.
And watching RL go batshit is always fun.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
No. Hilarious that you'd boast about not needing to affirm anything, though. When I think of insecure, I think of you.
By the way, jman got absolutely worked in the last several pages of this thread. Doesn't take a Ravens fan to see that. I can't believe that he wanted to have a popularity contest.
All of you shut up. Just shut your mouths.
I'm surprised Matt Slaninka was dumb enough to come back into a Ravens thread...
I loved this thread like a fat sixth grader loves chocolate milk. Would re-read and upvote everyone for their work.
Why does no one anywhere care that Ray Ray was involved with a murder?
Everyone just forgets, it is pathetic.
