Last time I went to a Nats game there was this spot outside with a bunch of empty shipping containers and plywood jammed together creating a hangout area. Is that still there? And if so can you just roll up with a case and chil there or do you have to buy drinks there?
Beers are $6.
Someone help me figure out who some of these guys are. Obviously the three kneeling are Machado, Jones, and O'Day. L-R those standing are Pearce (?), Strop, no clue, no clue, Casilla, no clue, McFarland, Matusz, Hunter.
Patton is one of the dudes in the middle.
Omg the Candian Tuxedos team pic is amazing....so pumped for Gausman tonight.
The Nats fans always talk about "The Bullpen"...is that near the gates somewhere a la Pickles?
Toronto is starting to turn things around. 6-4 in their last 10 games, Dickey is starting to get it together. I'll be happy with a split.
Standing: no clue (not player?), Strop, Patton, not sure, Casilla, Johnson, MacFarland, Matusz, Hunter
It's funny how much one game changes perception sometimes. If they don't rally in the 9th and 10th last night, we'd be talking about them losing 4 of their last 5.
Yeah, except it's like 2080498209824908290 times worse than Pickles. It's like a herd of cattle being fenced into a concrete parking lot to pay for $6 beers and hang out with pretentious Nats fans. What a blast.
Yeah. I think the name is the Fairgrounds now. It's a few hundred feet from the stadium's center field gate, and it's the first thing you see once you get off the Metro. It's a pretty decent place to hang out before games, although the beers are $6 since there's virtually nothing else in the area to compete and force them to drop their prices.
so I'm going from $2 tall boy Boh's at Sliders to 6 bucks for a Bud Light? Awesome.
Thanks for the quick responses as well gents.
Perhaps they could have found a better location for that photo.........the sausage house.....really?
I'm guessing the guy on the left standing is Chris Snyder.
Edit: Actually Snyder may be the other guy 4th from the left standing.

Players I'm driving the bandwagon for: Kevin Gregg
Morrow does have pretty average numbers. Good call.

There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
Every time I watch Cecil pitch he does poorly do hopefully he gets in all 3 games. Sorry bud.
Cecil is the only guy I pull for on the Jays (tho not this weekend obv) - gotta pull for a Terp from Calvert County!
Did you play with him?
whenever c4e comes back and posts in an o's thread it moves a little
They've been $3 everywhere since probably the middle of last season at least

Last time I went to a Nats game I went to the Ugly Mug on 8th. They have a golf cart that will drop you off in front of the stadium before the game and bring you back after if you choose to return. The bullpen is okay but only ever been after the game.
My only time in the Bullpen I had a fine time. Sure the beers were more expensive, but everything else was alright. You guys are really good at putting down anything and everything that isn't exactly like Camden Yards and making it sound like Kabul.
