Here is Brian Roberts house on Siesta Key, took this pic yesterday from the canal, it is 1 block from my friends house where I was staying.
I made it from Tampa to Siesta key in a little over an hour, speed limit on 75 is 70.
THAT'S SOME QUALITY CREEPIN RIGHT THERE
Bundy #2 in the BA top 100.
Gausman comes in at #26. That's it for the O's.
Was Schoop in it in the past?
He's always made Law's list, but not usually the others. Law puts a premium on the guys he projects for the middle infield, since there are so few potential impact players at those spots.
Nothing to do with anything but why the hell does everyone find it necessary to call into sports radio and say "We should franchise Joe Flacco!" like this is some brilliant new idea that no one else has ever thought of. Its baseball time, can I hear some orioles talk or something ffs? I wish someone would pioneer the idea of LOCAL podcast style radio where the hosts just talk. Does anyone REALLY care what Bob from Parkville think about anything?
(I know theres a sports radio thread but Im on my phone and dont feel like finding it)
Baltimore sports talk is awful.
Thanks to last season's AL MVP race between Miguel Cabrera and Mike Trout, WAR is on the lips of even RBI-addicted fans. In ESPN The Magazine's Analytics Issue, Sam Miller of Baseball Prospectus writes that Wins Above Replacement is MLB's next great stat.
Not like it's a surprise but ESPN the Mag is predicting us to finish last. It's nice though that making that prediction is now considered shocking enough to put it on the cover.

im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
I go back and forth daily between whether or not we can compete this year. We were really good after the Machado callup and almost everyone is either in their prime or has yet to hit their prime. Maybe a few key guys have breakouts (Wieters, Britton, Reimold), or maybe we have some big regressions (Hammel, Davis, Tillman).
I have a lot of faith in Buck though. Barring major injuries, I think we'll at least be competitive.
Creepy? Had to pass his house to get to our dock, but what may be creepy is my frind saying that Roberts' wife is smoking hot☺
The thing I don't get is why everyone is basically making a pythag argument against us, but dismissing what pythag is telling us. Saying that our one run record and clutch bullpen performance were flukes is correct. However, you are basically saying, our runs were distributed in a manner that caused us to win 11 games more than we should have. To argue that we will regress to below 82 wins is saying that we are a worse team than the average team we put out last year. And there is absolutely no way that is true. I don't think we are a 93 win team, but I do think we are more likely to be a 93 win team than a 73 win team.
Not sure if anyone saw Law's insider rankings for farm systems. I'm not going to copy and paste it all because there wasn't really anything of note said about any of the AL East teams, but they were ranked as compared to the rest of baseball. I was pleasantly surprised with the O's ranking. While it is largely based off of Bundy and Gausman, two guys who could be heading to the big leagues any day now, it doesn't include Machado, who could have still been left in the minors.
Rays - 3rd
O's - 13th
Yanks - 10th
Red Sox - 17th
Blue Jays - 24 th
[BCiB]Can you believe this guy?
Roch Kubatko @masnRoch
Nick Markakis is leaving the team after tomorrow's intrasquad games to attend a funeral in Baltimore
Mark Buehrle will start Sunday vs. the Orioles.
If there's one team I want to see crash and burn this year, it's Toronto.
Sorry, but it would be actually creepy if she weren't.
Why would you want that? Toronto does things the way they should be done, according to correct protocol and process. Why wouldn't you want them to be rewarded for that instead of being stricken by bad luck, injuries, or inexplicable ineffectiveness??? You must not be a real baseball fan.
LOL....skipped over the inexplicable ineffectiveness line.
They also steal signs and use steroids.
I hate this board sometimes.
