I was cruising through old baseball rosters to see how I did in the past as this is my first league since 2007 (haven't been really active ever due to competition or real-life happenings) and found looking at old rosters/tourney picks to be hilarious and/or awesome.
At least on Yahoo, on the main page if you click "Fantasy Profile" it'll list every single fantasy game you've ever played on their servers. I have fantasy football going back to 2002.
I'll start off with a 4! person fantasy football league from 2002. Wtf why did my 15 year old self think that was a good idea? Long field goals were weighted high with short ones low (2 points under 30 yds, 8 points for 40-49 yds, 10 pts for 50+ yds), 2 points per completion and reception (WTF), 30 yds per passing point, 15 yds per receiving point, 2 points per completion/reception. I'm pretty sure whoever set this up was drunk.
Of course having four teams made rosters absolutely ridiculous
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
I had a fantasy basketball team back in HS that was ridiculous. I remember I made like 20 trades and everytime the remaining players would bitch, then make another trade. I remember at one point I had all all-stars.
This was 2002
Is that good?
Ha, in the early 00's I think if you had Shaq on your team it was nearly impossible to lose.
jesus Titan that's sick
This is from a Suqueboard league in 2007 but I don't recognize any of the other names/posters. This was the year I had a bunch of shit going on starting in May so it got ignored and is the team that inspired this thread. I finished 12/12 with a record of 54-145-21
My ace was Aaron Harang and my second best pitcher was Noah Lowry. None of my other pitchers on my final roster had over 100 innings and lol Hayden Penn. At least Trevor Hoffman had 42 saves. I attached the link to the page with the hilariously bad final stats, hopefully it works

I remember how I drafted Verlander when he won a Cy Young years back and got laughed at because I also took Bryce Harper. Turns out my team had a good year and made it to the playoffs.
