The caps could lose 12-0 Wednesday with Ovechkin, Holtby, and Backstrom all getting decapitated and this will still be the best week DC Sports has seen in 20 years.
lol so true.
wrong. on every conceivable level
im hearing pg plaza is the spot!
short of winning the Cup drafting RG3 is more important than anything the caps will do this offseason.
I see dannyterp doesn't trust in RGIII's divine plan
eh i'd obviously want the redskins to better more than i want the caps to do well. redskins>caps of course. but i don't want ovi, backstrom, and holtby getting decapitated merely because they are the only team that has given us something to root for in this barren desert of washington sports.
LOL, as if RGIII wouldn't replace their chopped-off heads with newer, smarter, better heads.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
can't argue with that logic. you got me. he'd actually just take their spot on the ice and score a hat trick in everygame. no longer would there be the ovechtrick, only the....
ROBERT GRIFFCHECK III
Klosterman on the draft:
Robert Griffin III (Baylor): This man is a world-class 400-meter hurdler, but he's not focused on making the Olympic track team and representing our nation in London. He clearly hates America. He is against our core values. I would never, ever accuse RG3 of being a terrorist, nor would I even imply that preposterous hypothetical scenario. That said, what if the Redskins draft him and he blows up FedEx Field in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement? Pass on this guy.
The short version: Pass on all of them.
This is the week boys. Lets do this. #swagcomingtodc

Wednesday and Thursday night have potential to be the best 24 hours in my life in a long time.
Sorry if already posted
Williams said. "But there's a lot of enjoyment in putting a team together, because that's what I do. I'm a coach."
That highlight clip was impressive, even if most of it appears to have been recorded from the Good Year blimp. Speed is great and he obviously has it. But there is more to football than speed. I don't really know a lot about this guy, anyone have a read on him?
Usually when "smarts" is listed its a bad sign, like the writer is trying to justify a lack of physical ability or previous production.
Don't know much about the guy, but if he can help in an area of need, then great.
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
A good article on Darrell Green's son, Jared, who is looking to get into the NFL as a WR.
Also, it seems he felt like he got a raw deal with Mike London from his time @ UVA.
It can be difficult growing up in the shadow of an NFL Hall-Of-Famer, but particularly difficult if yous been a windy road, but with the hands his father says he never had, and a family of Redskins behind him, Jared Green prepares to bring the Green legacy into the NFL draft. "Unnamed scouts" are the fucking worst. These morons get to spout off whatever the hell they want under the condition of anonymity and then it somehow becomes truth because a scout said it. And who cares if RGIII is selfish anyway? What does that even mean?
is it just me or does the air smell better and food taste better this week?
I'll answer that probably around 11 p.m. tomorrow.
Right now, I still want to punch every human being I see in the face.
I want to draft Jared, just to do it.
IT EVEN LOOKS BETTER
As heartbreaking as Sunday was, this is still looking like the best time for DC sports in a long time. The Nats have if not the best rotation in baseball, one of the top ones+great talent coming up. Redskins...RGIII...enough said. If the Caps (McPhee) pull their heads out of their asses and make a few key personnel changes that need to be made, who knows what they could be. It's certainly a better time now than it has been for a LONG time.
i have quarantined the Capitals portion of my brain so that it won't interfere with all things RG3 related.
An interview with RGIII by the Sports Bog today confirms that his nameplate will read Griffin III and that he's planning on wearing number 10. I know it was generally assumed, but now we have confirmation.
Future Redskins star says he plans to wear No. 10 in the NFL, and that the league has okayed for his nameplate.
