So Ray used a deer antler extract, big deal.
It's not like he killed anyone.
HOF Danny Smith to Pittsburgh?
Yes please. Hilarious bitterness from the beat writers on Twitter about him when confronted with the DVOA for his special teams units (summary: he's been in the bottom 5-10 in the league almost every season except for two). THE PLAYERS LOVE HIM!
Although I guess I'll miss the half dozen "You really don't expect this from a Danny Smith coached special teams unit" per season.
But Bruce Allen stood on the table for him!
The blocked FGs/ XPs and the excuses the beat writers came up with for them last year would have been hilarious if they weren't so sad.
Local bubble gum merchants likely distraught too.
Good f-ing riddance Danny.
Swinging gate, was basically my Vietnam.
To be fair, wasn't swinging gate a Zorn call? Or did Danny draw that up?
As long as Cobra Kai and Lorenzo stay, and we add a CB that can also compete with Crawford to return kicks/punts, all will be right in this special teams dojo.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
Really, we all drew that play up.
It was an amalgamation of all Redskins fans' sadness and fail compiled over the past decade, in one brief, supernova-like explosion of suck.
The weird thing about that was Zorn did the same thing earlier in the year. They called a fake punt but the play was blown dead or something Then they ran it again and it worked for a TD. I remember thinking at the time WTF?? but since it worked nobody remembers that he ran it back to back. I'm convinced that's why he did it again.
The difference, of course, being that a fake punt has actually been known to result in a successful play in recent NFL history.

Redskins announce they are increasing general admission ticket prices and parking prices. "Most seats going up no more than 10 percent."
Dan must be giddy he finally has a good excuse for something like this
Actual press release announcing price hike: "NFC East Champion Redskins Remain Among the Most Affordable Ticket in the NFC East."
I don't mind occasional hikes in prices, because I think they actually are reasonable compared to certain places (even Baltimore is more expensive I believe)
However, there better be accompanying benefit as well. For example, organ farm for players. Or maybe saving up for a sick new stadium with a retractable roof. Just let me know my money isn't going so you can buy a 300 million dollar island instead of the 250 million dollar one and its fine with me.
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
Your money has been going directly to DeAngelo Hall's contract. There, does that make you feel better?
Keep in mind they spent the money to rip out 10,000 seats because they couldn't sell them.
Yeah but that was before RG 3 torn ligaments showed up to town. Now they need to re-install those seats.
Only after he spent money to wedge seats into every crevice of the building and ruined the end zone bars. Fuck Dan Snyder. I don't hate anyone but I hate that motherfucker.

What? Those seats were great!
So who is replacing Danny smith? Hopefully someone who doesn't live being on TV so much
