Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora
Heard from some who were on the FedEx Field surface on Sunday that the green paint (from painting the dirt) is still on their shoes
Sucks that this had to happen and the gutless asshole should be fired for it. But, he will be back.
Well fuck me
It's hilarious how every single media person talking about this has a different story.
They all want to be known as first to report it.
Wow,. Didn't you learn anything from Sandy Hook and every other freakin' major story the last 20 years?
Its not just every media person, every single "expert" doctor is saying something different.
Just curious, when is the Redskins season ticket renewal deadline?
It's like we dropped our new phone on asphalt for the first time.
Well if RG3's surgery is tomorrow and that's when they find out about the ACL, my guess is 5 minutes before the surgery is the renewal deadline... Just a guess
But the plus side to renewing now is FREE tickets to a Kenny Chesney concert!! (Parking not included)
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
We've had the ability to put NIC CAGE's face on John Travolta since 1997!
RG3 will lead us to the next stage of human evolution, a digital frontier to reshape the human condition.
BIONIC IMPLANTS (either that or living tissue over a metal exoskeleton)
This is going to be like the Gil knee saga x 1 million.
There has never been a major injury where initial reports weren't wrong.
Peterson was going to be out until midseason. Suggs was going to be out all season. Etc etc.
Never isn't right, but let it play out. The speculation right now is just stupid.
The ACL is obviously torn. He'll get a 10-12 month diagnosis and be back in 8-9. So obvious.
He will definitely miss time next year, 4-6 games is my guess. Cousins' effectiveness could play into it.
It's going to be awesome when the NFL schedules all our "easy" games in September though.
Wow, you Redskins fans are even more self-loathing than us Ravens fans. #grouphug.
So what if you have to sacrifice '13 for a completely healthy RGIII in '14? Yeah, you never want to punt on a season, but be realistic. It might be the end of a season, but it's not the end of the world.
I've now talked myself into being thrilled with 9-12 months.
@Russellmania980: Last tweet of night - Where are all of the people that hammered #Redskins for drafting Kirk Cousins?? That is lone bright spot in this mess.
It's honestly better than what we were hearing yesterday. Nine months has him back in early-mid October. That's like four games.
I mean, it sucks, but not the end of the world. You know he'll beat the timetable. He just will. Has the attitude and work ethic for it. Guys like that usually beat their timetable.
They just better not rush it. Better know for sure he's ready.
The thing that fascinates me is what if the above happens and RGIII is fully cleared by say, Week 5, but we're 3-1 or 4-0 with Cousins and he's playing great. That's gonna be some awkward shit.
Maske says surgery likely tomorrow.
this needs upvotes, folks.
he's having surge on the LCL tomorrow. then they will be able to determine what needs to be fixed with the ACL (if it's completely torn, just needs to rest, etc).
You guys should just tank next year and get the #1 pick and take Jadaveon Clowney!
Chris Mortensen @mortreport
Dr. James Andrews will perform surgery in about 6 hours. Diagnosis already made that ACL graft of @RGIII's 2009 surgery is complete tear
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
Expected to be ready for 2013 opener!
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Griffin's recovery is projected at 6-to-8 months w/ rehabilitation that will focus on his quad strength to protect and help stabilize knee.
Suck it, Rams!
