Any Terps fans in Nola want to meet Greivis, the Alumni Association is doing a thing. $42 which includes a club level seat and a meet and greet afterwards.
That is REALLY cool that HOF Vasque is doing this for the school. What a great alum.

Who has the NBA's longest current streak of games with 10+ assists? Greivis Vasquez, whose Hornets face Spurs tonight.
"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
The Hornets really miss Eric Gordon. However, I thought their record would be much better than 5-21. In early games I saw he looked real good.
The Hornets do not have any small forwards who can score, no 2 guards, and Lopez only averages 5 rebounds.
Greivis Vasquez, PG 33.2minutes per game,
8.9 assists per game.,
4.2rebounds per game
3.5 turnovers per game
This is really hard to watch. I almost want him to succeed more now than I did in college.
This prompted me to check the box score. At first I was like "oh sweet theyre winning". Then I saw what happened in the 3rd
Yeah, it was another rough game. GV is capable of taking over in spurts, but he can't carry them like he's being asked to do. Again, Austin Rivers is really the only other guy on the team capable of creating his own shot, and he's a rookie, not a good defender and was 3-12 tonight, so coach took him out. And GV played great tonight, he was responsible for just about all of their points from the 6:00 mark in the 4th Q. But he missed a couple makable shots, and had a really bad turnover with a minute left and down 3. It just sucks because he had a great game, but couldn't carry the load himself so it's easy to blame him for the L.
27-6-8 right now with a late lead.. And good fg% which is key with greivis
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
Watched the end of the game. He's so awesome!'
So awesome, he played amazing all game. Didn't come out the entire 2nd half.
Switching my fandom to the Pelicans for the rest of the year. If Im gonna watch a crappy team every day it might as well be one with a player who I care about and who is actually fun to watch (the Wizards have literally zero of those on the team right now)
Yeah, if I get home and go flip through the box scores to see what games to follow, I've been looking at New Orleans before I get to the wizards
The thing that is making me so proud this year is his efficiency. I didn't want him to get the "chucker" label in the NBA, because then you can't get respect. As long as he doesn't start turning in 6-19 nights repeatedly, I think he might get some love nationally. He's sort of following the same growth he did at UMD, so hopefully he keeps up with it to give us something to care about in the NBA (speaking to mostly wizards fans here)
tonight was gv's career high for points
As at Maryland, part of his shooting propensity at any given time is the availability of decent options. Still, I agree with you as to the perception, even if it may not be fully justified.
He is shooting 42% FG (not terrible) and a respectable 35.3% from 3. Both these numbers are better than Russell westbrook. He also has the same APG and TO as Russell Westbrook (8 ppg less).
"Anyone who talks about Jordan Williams leaving knows nothing about basketball. Absolutely nothing" - Hogie 02/27/2011
Yeah, he's playing great. Austin Rivers getting the first minutes at point that I've seen this season. He's doing terrible.
Triple double alert at half!!!
When espn is running stories about you that are titled "Worst Season Ever?" you know you're not having a good season. I know he wasn't a great pro prospect, but I didn't expect Rivers to be this bad.
12/9/8 with 7:30 left in the 3rd !!
Hornet's fans should realize The General is there best player. 1 rebound away from a triple double.
Balls to the wall
Huevos on fire in so many ways
Is he out on his regular rest? Just looking at the box score
