I'm pretty pissed that Juevos has to dish it off to a schmuck like "Sub Zero"

Greivis doing Greivis things

Has Rivers been as bad as his numbers or worse?

GV is a legit NBA starter. Wow.

Was in both the #1 and #4 top plays on sportscenter. HOF greivis
GV getting a lot of love in the presses this morning. Good to see. Hopefully he keeps this up!
@greivisvasquez: Tough lost Hornets fan! It's a long season so we will get better! Una dura derrota pero de las derrotas se aprende
On the ESPN NBA homepage, the dunk of the night is a lob from GV to Aminu
I will never love another athlete more than I love Greivis Vasquez.
I don't think I'll ever love another person more than I love him.
I fucking love him.
Might have to add a GV Hornets jersey to my holiday list.
GV at #48 overall in the board fantasy draft was such a steal.
What is his value generally perceived to be on the NBA market now?
In some ways, it seems to be like Steve's was: he's nice, but no matter what he does everyone will always try to replace him with better. Conley, Jack, Rivers.
Is he now at the level that some team may want him -- and pay him -- to be their starter?
Every time I see him he's pretty effective, even given his physical limitations. He'll never be the quickest guy in the world, but he gets the job done on both ends of the court pretty well.
I hate to say it, but Rivers looked pretty good last night. I'm still not convinced he's a 1, but once Gordon comes back from injury they're probably going to try to find ways to get them both on the court.
The thing about Greivis is, just like in college, he gets better every year. Hopefully he'll continue to grow as a player and leader and they won't be able to keep him off the floor.
Yeah, I mean Greivis' length alone is a big factor for him. If he can just continue to be a great passer and not be a liability on defense - sometimes that's all you need out of a point guard.
The Hornets buying his 4th year option and him getting the chance to start now is a good sign. There is no chance there is someone on that team that works harder and is a more positive leader than the General. IMO he will at least be the first guard off the bench wherever he is for the next few years, if not starting for NO for a while. He is making the most of his opportunities and will not give up that starting spot easily.
GV is nasty

Got Back Pain and ready to leave it behind? www.isostrength.com
well, who knows when gordon ever comes back from his injury?
Rivers is going to take some time. He had a couple nice possessions when he was running the offense but a lot of really really poor ones as well and he was horrific shooting the ball.
Went to look for a Vasquez jersey on the Hornets website.
Is it sad that they are still selling Chris Paul Jerseys?
This is such a big season for Greivis, I don't think this thread should go very long without a bump.
I'm surprised how excited I am to watch him in the NBA. I'm big Celtics fan, but I can already tell if a NO game is on and a BOS game is on, I'm going to watch the General. Should be a fun year.
i dont watch the nba but a couple of kids(19-20) went to hornets game halloween night from my neighborhood. They have a new guy from ky who may be good in time.
i will have to ask them who their favorite players are.
Many of Pitt's 58 "rushing attempts" were the result qb Tino Sunseri fleeing the pocket like a man whose clothes were on fire.
