I forget the exact quote but AJ Burnett not so subtly implied in spring training that he is still heated over Chapman beaning McCutchen last season and is looking forward to retaliating in his first outing against the Reds. Brandon Phillips and/or Joey Votto should have ice packs ready to go.
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
Cueto leaves with an apparent arm injury. Fantastic
Gotta love the Bucs taking two in a row from the Reds. The top of the order continues to produce, and we are getting pitching. Locke earned some respect from me today.
Phil Irwin makes his major league debut today filling in for Wandy. He has a nasty curve (see gif), but still a baptism by fire to go in against the Reds.
Jitters definitely getting to Irwin. He has a rep for having great control but he can't find the zone to save his life so far right now. Going to be another long day for the bullpen if he doesn't settle down quickly.
Love that they had to wait for the umpire review to determine whether the fan got kicked out or not.

LOL at Broxton. Glad he's making so much money.
FORT. CURTAIN CALL.
Wtf is this game
This is baseball. It's fun!
Jonathan Sanchez just walked. Lol.
I picked the game up on the radio with the Bucs down 5 zip, and bang, the Fort goes yard. The rest is history. Great comeback win, and a sweep.
Some type of triceps problem, they've called up Chingrani.
Can't even really enjoy it on a day like this, but cards really got to McDonald tonight
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
I'm starting to doubt if McDonald will ever be able to put it together. If he's going to be in the rotation, we can't have this good one start, then bad for the next three crap. Some people on twitter pointed out his velocity is down 4-5 mph on the fastball and he didn't throw his slider at all, so maybe he's battling a physical issue. But if not, I think it's getting close to when we just need to give up on the experiment of him being a starter and see if he can be retooled as a bullpen guy.
Either that or send him down. Bucs are battling in the 8th, it's now 10-6 and Cutch is up with two in scoring position and two out. Marte has another three hit night. Fort with a clutch rbi. Can we come all the way back again? Stay tuned, eh?
Cutch just made top plays on ESPN with a wonderful catch in the 2nd inning tonight. It's 4-2 Bucs at the moment.
That was an amazing catch. If we don't get a rain delay this is going to be a fun one, both pitchers are letting all kinds of balls in play. Nothing like a shoot out.
It really poured, but it looks like it's ending. They will resume play but who knows when.
That rain/storm was no joke tonight. It went from nothing to our softball field being one giant puddle in about 5 minutes.
The Cubs best 3 starters have an ERA of 1.82 in 8 starts but only have 2 wins combined. The team is only 4-4.
Bucs up 2 zip going to the 7th but the news is Burnett with a perfect game this far.
think he has an hbp
