I just called the Marlins seeking parking passes for next season and they offered me Ricky Nolasco and Logan Morrison instead.
Major blockbuster in works: buehrle, josh johnson and reyes would go to blue jays if deal is completed as constituted
OTOH is MLB finally going to run out the Marlins ownership group for being the frauds that they are? Frank McCourt became enough of a liability, it would seem that Loria et al are there too

Johnson (29) - 1/13.75M
Reyes (30) - 5/96M
Buehrle (34) - 3/52M
Buck (32) - 1/6M
So does Bowden. Of course DiPoto was proclaimed 2012 Executive of the Year last year and look where that got Anaheim.
Yeah- meant Bowden.
Melvin wins MOY.
Bob Melvin AL Manager of the Year.

Attitude Reflects Leadership
Buck lost. :(
I really don't think this is that great a deal for Toronto. Reyes will help them a lot, but I'm worried about JJ and I'm a big fan of his. Buehrle is done. He will get raped. Wish Toronto gave up just a little bit more though.
16 to 12....respectable. Can't really argue
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
If they're taking on all of their contracts than I'm very happy with the deal from an O's perspective.
Jon Morosi @jonmorosi
Source: #Marlins will get Jacob Marisnick or Anthony Gose, as well as a catcher -- Arencibia, Wilson or Mathis.
Do you really think they are taking on all of it though? Maybe 80% is what I was thinking. But yeah, if it's all of it, I wouldn't complain at all.
Duquette should be calling about Stanton. I'll take on Nolasco and the HR sculpture for him.
I mean, it's the Marlins.
Gregor Chisholm @gregorMLB
A source just informed me that Jake Marisnick will be a part of this reported deal. #BlueJays #Marlins
Marlins are going to unload a HUGE deal on Stanton. I expect it to be laughably bad. Probably approaching Arod status.
I'd be surprised if Miami is paying a dime.
@Giancarlo818 Alright, I'm pissed off!!! Plain & Simple
I'd literally kill for Mike Statnton. Lock for 500 HRs if he stays healthy
Loria still owns that team. If he did that, it would guarantee Stanton being trade within 18 months.
I live in Miami and went to that garbage ass mall plaza they call a stadium a couple times this year. The atmosphere in that place is LOLbad. No one down here gives a fck about the Marlins. Miami is such a shitty sports town.
Yeah I'd go bananas for Stanton, but just stop. They will not trade him. They will pay whatever it takes to keep him.
What kind of package could we offer for Stanton? We'd definitely need to give up Gausman and Schoop right?
