Oh my.... THE HAHPAH
It's a shame we're making him go through this in the big leagues.
Players who have hit 12 or more HR in their age-19 season: Conigliaro, Ott, Griffey Jr, Mantle, Harper.
Hairston wanted no part of that praying mantis.

Eat shit, Jay!
The Atlanta Braves have played .667 ball since the All-Star Break (24-12). They've LOST a game in the NL East standings in that time.
At least Jay will never go hungry. Every time a Met gets into scoring position, the next hitter lays a big steaming turd for him.

Most important series in team history. Somebody start a proper Braves series thread.
Dude I saved the season when I started the 2nd Braves series that led to the Nats going 2-0 vs. the Braves. I deserve some credit for that.
lol. That would be "Oyster" Joe Martina of the 1924 World Champion Washington Nationals (aka Senators). He's the toothy Nats player in the first two photos below. hehe!!! That somewhat famous photo of 'Oyster' Joe in the Nats' dugout was taken during the 1924 World Series, which the Nats won in the bottom of the 12th inning of the 7th game in D.C..
'Oyster' Joe finally made it to the big leagues at the ripe old age of 34 for one single season in the majors, with our 1924 Nats. He pitched one perfect inning of relief in game 3 of the '24 World Series and finished 6-8 on the season. He was a HOF minor league pitcher with the New Orleans Pelicans.
If you build it, they will come.......... Nats built it, had 1924 throwback night, and now they're heeeere with big time Natitude. (HOF Walter 'Big Train' Johnson on right)
My High School's newspaper was named "The Big Train."
Historic proportions of Natitude.
