I also don't think they allow kids at the Fair Grounds (that's what it's called now, right?) since they ask for ID when you walk in, but that could be because I barely look 21 and they know I'm going for a wristband.
I think they do have TV's. I remember going there for a game and they were showing a ND football game. IIRC the TVs were in the back next to where they serve the beer.
good lord this day is glorious. alarm went off at 7 and i jumped right out of bed - no snooze, no coffee, nothing. i'm so fucking awake, and unzipped and ready for tonight.
The swing as captured by my buddy's circa 2005 phone.

Were you taking pictures of every swing. I was trying to take video in the bottom of the eighth of each pitch but they kept swinging and missing so i figured it was bad luck and stopped.
Great catch though.
I was there pregame yesterday and didn't see any tv's up. However I did see a few kids that were in there so I think you'd be alright. I'm sure 11 and 8 year olds are fine. I'll be there pretty damn early today and probably will be going back. I might just swallow my pride and drink the 16oz LimeARitas with 8% alc.... or just start drinking now.
He claims he just took one on that pitch. Good decision if he did. Bad decision to not upgrade his phone like ever though. I was out in center under the scoreboard, just a puddle.
Off the bat I didn't think it had the height to be out. That was an absolute pill.
Here's my shot from earlier in the count....
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
The YouTube fan videos are awesome. Saw maybe seven or eight. Just heard the full Charlie call. Now I'm ready to look ahead.
At the risk of being the battered spouse again, your boy is about FULL POSITIVITY today. CVD turning the page.
Just checked and it's going to be in the 40's tonight. I hope the hyped up crowd gets the temps in the ballpark up a few degrees.
We have SRO tickets so I plan on walking around to keep warm. Temps might cut down on the Beer consumption a bit..
Nancy Pelosi - The Gift that Keeps on Giving..
So...that's what I always dreamed playoff baseball in DC would look like.

there's no chance in hell gio has a bad game.
i'm expecting a legendary performance out of him.
i can see him getting out of the first 1-2-3, jumping on top of the nats dugout and waving his arms to the crowd to get pumped.

No team in baseball won more games behind one starter than the Nationals behind Gio Gonzalez; 24-8 in games he started: http://wapo.st/UVkyUT
