naw c'mon cVd, you're my favorite poster when you're high on natitude and running people over with your car because you can or robbing a bank b/c you're a nats fan. that's the best version of you that we all need.
not to steer away from this series, but some fun things about last night's clinch:
>now that we're in the postseason, not to say this team had been playing uptight or anything, but i think now we'll be at ease a bit and we'll lock up the division soon.
>love having guys like victorino, hanley, beckett, etc all being there to watch us clinch a playoff spot.
>we pwned the brewers earlier this year
yeah a lot of these guys sucked before natitude (bn). like before christ.
How in the world do the O's series threads get to 20+ pages before playing a single game? What are they talking about? It's absurd.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
This one was mostly about playoff ticket purchases. Season ticket and mini plan holders were buying them yesterday and lottery winners from the public were buying them today. Then last night was basically a Yankees/Jays game thread until it got out of hand. Then people were talking about the Angels/Rangers game.
Let's try to talk some baseball in this thread and show them up!
JSH/feather/manatee/etc post good news reports, game recaps, etc ... they do a very good job on that. also they have good debates in there. there are more O's fans on here than Nats too.
How bitter was Billy Ripken that he had to call that game last night? He's basically been the most high-profile Nats hater all year.
yeah he hates the Nats. In preseason everyone on MLB Network was ALL over them in all of their shows (Hot Stove/30 clubs in 30 days/MLB Tonight/Quick Pitch/The Rundown/etc) ... pretty much every analyst and host said this team was stacked and they were playoff contenders. Billy wasn't having any of that. But I think he may have turned a leaf. Last night he was pretty gaga over them.
Exactly, and Billy's line was always that the other analysts were "drinking the Kool-Aid". Remember FP, during a nationals telecast said he was going to sit in the left field stands and ask Billy how the Kool-Aid tastes.
once again this belongs in the other thread and i know he's not going against the brew crew, but gotta give some love to rosswiler ...
Crap, online Natitude shirt is on backorder, I'll have to get it on Monday when I go.
went on backorder within 2 hrs after the game...thats when i tried to order mine
but at the same time in O's threads, you'll have the same few that would rather crap on the nats rather talk O's.
it's okay we're still the best team in baseball. i can see why the other 29 teams are jealous.
sounds like some of your "fans"
I'm getting mine on Sunday. May go Monday as well.
If they run out of shirts at the team store before Monday I'm going to be livid.
no problem, dickhead!
I'm not sure the Natitude shirts I saw last Friday during Springsteen are the same as these online shirts (which I already ordered for my fiance and myself). I think they had NATITUDE in big letters across the shirt, which is what I want.
Tell me about Wily Peralta.
I expect a great crowd for the series. Brewers fans have always represented very well in DC and with the Nats thinking pennant, it should be a packed house.
Have they? I was thinking they were one of the lower draws...but I guess there could be a ton of Milwaukee natives lurking through the region like most of the other Great Lake cities have. I only know 2, but they don't seem to care about baseball.
