Pretty sure it's Wainwright for them, then Garcia in Game 2.
Will change as info comes available. Also, didn't want to face Cardinals but I hate Braves so much I was pulling for Cards anyway...
Nats in 5
Gotta be happy to not have to worry about Kimbrel. Motte isn't bad, but he's not that good.
Scared S*itless of the Cards. Borderline impossible to win at Busch in the playoffs
Medlen's streak can continue in the regular season next year, LOL
You know god damn it; you got to play the best to be the best. We're taking this in 4...
Best case scenario imo.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
RT @nathanfenno: #Cardinals manager Mike Matheny wouldn't commit to a Game 1 starter vs. Gio Gonzalez. #Nationals
Fucking Matheny. You know you're starting Wainwright. Just announce it. Stop playing these stupid games. You're in over your head.
It doesn't matter. Our lineup isn't changing. He's playing games with his own head and I'm not saying the one on his shoulders...
Just win 1 game in St. Louis and I'll feel good.
8/31: 2.2 IP, 9 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 3 K @ DC
9/28: 6.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K @ STL
God. The Cards. Welp, it was a nice season everyone.
Gio's one start vs. the Cards:
8/31: 9.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 8 K @ DC
One way the 2-3 split works out is I feel 10x more comfortable with Gio and JZimm in STL than I would with EJax and Detwiler.
Split at Busch, win it in 4 (because that's the game I'm going to)
NATITUDE HOT MEAT INJECTION
Don't be surprised if Gio falls apart a bit in the first game. Energy high, on the road, that's the type of game he sometimes loses control of a bit at first before settling down. Don't freak out if that happens. For one, if he does have a bad game 1, he's having a sensational game 5. And two, we're winning game 2. JZimm has an advantage over Garcia or Carpenter, whoever throws that one.
absolutely worried about mental midget Gio showing up
I'll say L for game 1
The postseason commercial makes it move everytime.
lack of natitude here....so I'll just say it...Nats crush them in game 1
WTF is wrong with you people? Down the stretch (starting Aug 31) Gio went 6-1, with sn ERA of sbout 1.5, including a shutout of Cardinals. His only loss was to Atlanta, where he gave up two runs. WHERE IS YOUR NATITUDE?
We will win game one 17-1.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
From the Nats Magic 8 Ball:
Do the Nationals win the Divisional PLayoff against the Cardinals in less than 5 games?
"As I See It, Yes."
Will Gio pitch into the eighth inning Sunday against the Cards?
Between them do Harper and Werth reach base more than three times in game one?
