NHL Hockey Trade Rumors
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
Settle in, boys and girls, it's going to be a long October (and November and December).
I fucking hate Bettman and the owners (sans Mario).
they lockout again...no more season tickets for me...
I will put my monies to the nats...
Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
It can't happen, I won't even consider it
I need hockey in my life
"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
Allan Walsh: "The average NHL ticket price has increased 39% since 2004 when Gary Bettman promised fans a salary cap would lower ticket prices."
The owners can suck a bag of dicks. Hypocrites all of them.
Owners are getting slattered in the PR battle. But I think the joke is actually on fans, the players and the agents. They don't care. They don't even pretend to care. Call me on Jan. 1.
Bettman sucks dirty ass.
they can't lockout again....they do, and they will lose the casual fans they've gained, the casual turned diehard, and this time, it will be even harder to get them to come back.
I hope they lose a year.
Pens sign 4 guys to two way deals. Tangradi (only $726k), Strait ($605k) Bortuzzo ($525k) and Grant ($525k). Will Tangradi ever establish himself? Great size and highly regarded in years past, but a two way deal for that kind of money at this point?
today's dday for no lockout :(
Players on 2 way deals can go to the AHL without waivers during a lockout, maybe that had something to do with Tangradi signing that type of deal.
Not to mention beer and other prices. Parking as well.
Yeah. He's probably on Sid's wing this season.
so what type of cable package do i need to watch the NHL in russia this year?
ESPN3 has, had KHL games in the past
I've seen that today could be some serious, serious strides to have hockey back very soon with the nhlpa bringing a proposal. Someone else however, told me they saw that the proposal they're bringing is off the wall.
Just figure this out and get hockey back please.
They've said the next round of cuts will be substantial. A full month or more. A radical proposal by the NHLPA isn't necessarily all that encouraging. The chances of the NHL just laughing at it are probably higher than them somehow being on board.
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
NHL makes much needed proposal. 50-50 split in rev. More details will surface. Await NHLPA response.

Bettman says offer contingent on having 82-game season which would begin Nov 2. Says league offered 50/50 share of HRR

I need this.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
Seems encouraging, but I tend to agree with this:
Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski
Oof ... 50 percent in Year 1, down from 57 percent? Unless the players pressure it, that's not a deal Fehr takes, IMO
omg plz let this happen
If this doesn't happen, I'm going to hire two guys to play USA vs Russia Super Chexx Bubble Hockey all night, and stream the games live. I bet Darren Pang would commentate for $50 a night and snacks.
Anyone know how this would affect the cap? With the 2012–13 salary cap set at $70.2 million, a reduction of player payments from 57% to 50% would knock it down to around $62 million, right?

players conference call at 5pm to discuss....even if this isn't THE deal, I'm very encouraged. I think the end may be near.
