HOF moron comment?
The NFL playoff picture continues to move ever closer to being 100 percent clear — we’ll be there by next Sunday night, if not before.
You mean the playoff picture will be 100 percent clear by the end of the regular season?? You don't say!

What? If the Ravens win today, no one cares about the Bengals.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Does this eliminate the steelers?

Did todays Cowboys game have any effect on the Skins playoff scenarios whether the Cowboys won or lost?
Not directly, but under the Hogie theory, if the Giants win out, the Cowboys will be eliminated, rest Dez Bryant, and let us cruise to victory.
Doesn't Minnesota also have to do something in this scenario?
No. If we beat Dallas we win the division.
don't ever want to hear about DC SPORTZZZZ again
Go back to Russia
Right, because we've already won a championship or something.
Cue coltsfan reminding Jay how many titles his teams have won in his lifetime.
division championship is a championship
Your team won a fucking miracle title last year. Stop bitching. They should have a 10 year reprieve from criticism from you for all their success in the Eli era.
hey look who it is
i'm not complaining really. but fuck DC SPORTZZ
So assuming the Giants lose, is next week's Skins/Cowboys game for the division?
only the Eagles celebrate division championships.
Yup, and most likely the loser is out altogether.
Yeah DC sports! Next week we get to either make our 4th playoff appearance in 19 years or suffer a BRUTAL loss to our most hated rivals at home!
Yeah! So good!
yes. The Giants NFC east scenario had them winning both games and having the Skins/Cowboys winner lose in week 16. Since the Skins won, the only way the Giants win the east is if they win out and the Cowboys win next week.
So if skins lose next week, season over? Seems criminal since we're a hot team right now which could make some noise in the playoffs.
I don't think that's right.
If the Skins lose next week the Cowboys win the NFC East. The Skins would be 9-7. The Vikes, Bears, Skins, Seattle and Giants could all finish 9-7. Not sure how the tiebreaks work.
It's not definitely season over, but either Seattle would have to go 0-2 in their last two games, or Chicago would have to lose to Detroit.
And Minny would have to lose.
Ah yes, forgot about them.
Two of the following three has to happen:
Minn loses to GB
Chicago loses at Detroit
Seattles loses to SF and Stl at home
