If you wanna give away Novak, then by all means
Detroit Hustles Harder
Wins are the greatest stats...
Stern talking about more expansion? He mentioned Pittsburgh, Columbus, Louisville, Virginia Beach, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Mexico City, Kansas City. Great idea!
you really want a guy who plays no D and can't create his own shot?
Do we know the Thunder would have less wins with Harden instead of Westbrook? They're still good, and Harden was awful in the Finals last year. But he's a more efficient player. They also could have just let it ride for one more year. I still don't know what the right decision was. Don't know if we ever will.
so jj redick is going to be the best player dealt at the deadline? lame!
Did anyone know the NBA did a one-on-one tournament in the early 70s? (I just found out today) The attached video shows brief highlights from a JoJo White vs. Jeff Mullins game that actually took place in Cole Field House. Seems like a smaller version of this might be an interesting concept to consider for All-Star Weekend...
Bob Lanier vs Jojo White one on one also features highlights from Jeff Mullins and Jojo White
The players fear embarrassment too much to do a tournament like this.
While I'm not overly excited about getting Jordan Crawford (volume shooter, poor defender) I think on a veteran team he could excel coming off the bench, especially if he buys in to working hard and doing what's asked of him. To get him basically for free is a great move.
OTOH, I have no idea wtf the Wizards were thinking.
Did you ever see the Kareem Abdul Jabbar vs Dr J 1 on 1 before? Kareem completely destroyed Dr J. I think the score was like 11-0.
It was a pay-per-view for AIDS research and they played five-minute quarters or something like that so I doubt the score was 11-0.
Kareem won 40something to 20something.
Here is some footage of that game. Kareem really took it to Dr. J. The score was 11-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.
CLASH of the legends DR J vs JABBAR great game great
HOF HOF HOF
It never was about Westbrook vs. Harden. They were never going to give Harden what he wanted.
They wanted Harden to keep sacrificing too much without compensating him. I think the difference was like $7-10 million over 5 years.
Fire the Turd!!!
Pacers won by 30 tonight, and Paul George sucked. That's the sign of a good team. I'm starting to drink the kool-aid that they have a shot against Miami.
well, they certainly are better than the "garbage" that people think they are compared to all those powerhouse 80s/90s teams mj faced in the east. i could write a book (:ttk) about a certain other eastern conference team that is indeed garbage
Warriors rocking some hilariously awful unis tonight. Half solid/half light stripe t-shirt jerseys with heavy pinstripe shorts. They look like Average Joes from Dodgeball.
The Warriors showed a lot of mental toughness last night. They are really fun to watch.
Prior to today's game, Kobe was 2-37 on 3-point shots in his last 16 games.
If Dwight Howard doesn't learn to shoot FTs underhand this offseason from Barry, he's a complete joke. I know shaq got the offer but turned it down, but Dwight ain't shaq.
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
Dwight is a Shaq rip-off. And just like Shaq, he's too insecure to accept the offer.
