He's responsible for the greatest GIF of all time (in the original post), so it is impossible to hate him
Have we confirmed that there is no crossover between Marshall Henderson and the Annette thread? I feel like there's probably a good chance he's dad to one of her niece's babies.
Gary Parrish @GaryParrishCBS 1m
Marshall Henderson gave fans the double-bird. Why? Because, he said, somebody called his sister a whore and yelled something about cocaine.
"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
holy shit I just realized he is a junior!!! YES!
He better not leave early.
hopefully he ends up back in jail or something
I dunno, I think his personality would do well in an Armenian or Serbian league
It won't be for the NBA. He's like a slightly worse Malcom Delaney.
if he leaves early, it will be for prison
2022 Supermax League MVP!
Bring them to Comcast next year!
he seems like a real piece of shit. a detriment to the gene pool. So I disagree.
Of course you do, you didn't need to post anything we already knew.
Wow. This is NOT roomy!
Jemele Hill playing the race card. This is me being shocked.
That was a great article, and really spot on. I usually do not like her stuff, but that might make me read the next piece from her.
So ESPN is accusing someone of being outrageous and purposefully divisive instead of just doing his job?
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
She is 100% right in this case though. Sadly
Why is she right and about what? There's no substance. I'm sure there's an implicit double standard by some, and I'm sure there's a thoughtful, analytical column that could be written about it, but I'm supposed to think about how people called Cam Newton selfish and it's a racial thing? Stupid.
The Cam Newton stuff was definitely not pertinent, but I think she makes some good points. Would you be okay if Dez Wells threw up two middle fingers to the crowd after a loss? I mean I could care less about this guy or whether he plays or not, but she definitely was not off base, at least in my opinion.
"The drummer for Maryland's pep band just freaked out: 'They're trying to slow the game down,' he screamed. 'Get up on them, get up on them.
Whenever this thread and the Jerry Sandusky thread get bumped my first assumption is that they died.
Part of the thing is, is that he plays for such an irrelevant basketball team. Comparing someone that is only on tv if sportscenter shows highlights to other real superstars is just plain dumb. Its called be relevant versus not relevant.
He's a super douche in black or white. Either way he's super entertaining. ESPN kept his story going. If Jemele was genuine in her detest, she wouldn't write it. He obviously craves attention so the best way to crush that is ignore him.
I definitely think there's some validity to the message. I don't think it's anything groundbreaking that people treat and/or perceive people/players of different races with a double standard but it is a sad truth. I think people are kidding themselves if they think the Ole Miss fanbase would feel the same way about Henderson were he black. The Cam Newton stuff is superfluous.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
