hahaha, Brad Waldow handing his tooth to the coach. Priceless.
Now that we're not bubble watching, I hope Saint Mary's wins this. They're a much more interesting bottom bracket team than Virginia or Alabama.
Dellavedova might be the most exciting player in the country.
I'm biased, but I think UVa is a really interesting team. There are very few teams we can't beat on a good day, and very few teams we can't lose to on a bad day.
Please don't interpret that as saying we clearly deserve a bid.
UVA might be the least interesting team in the country. Not saying you guys do or don't deserve a bid, but I would rather watch any other team in the country play.
Also, some asshole on ESPN radio today said that the Committee would have to look seriously at Kentucky because their fans travel so well. Ugh.
I guess we're interpreting "interesting" differently. Do you really think Alabama could be competitive against a good team? At least UVA has a chance against tournament teams, even if our style isn't pleasant.
I hate St. Mary's so much, fuck them
LETS GET IT TORREROS

I love Delladova...how can you hate St Mary's? I would live to see them play Gonzaga again
because they do not deserve to be in the tournament unless they get the auto bid
Do you think Alabama couldn't win a first four game and then score a 12-5 "upset"? UVA won't be around nearly long enough to worry about facing a "good" team so it doesn't much matter.
Alabama has zero top 50 wins. What evidence do you have that they can reasonably beat a 5 seed?
Sure they can keep it close with anyone, but their style if play is unwatchable unless your a fan of the team. Our definition of "interesting" is completely different.
I don't think Bama deserves a bid either, but I would much rather see St. Mary's then either Bama or UVA.
Oh come on, you're smarter than that. The entire NCAA field plus at least half the NIT field could reasonably beat a five seed on a neutral court .
And let's dispense with this fictitious myth that UVA has all these games where they play great basketball, but they're just inconsistent.
UVA beat Duke, at home, without Ryan Kelly playing. A good win, but realistically, Duke is clearly a different team with him on the court and was pretty poor on the road without him
UVA beat Wisconsin on the road early in the season. An excellent win.
UVA beat an 7/8ish seed UNC at home back when they were playing really poor basketball.
UVA beat an 8/9ish seed NC State at home by a bucket.
You guys slammed a lot of the easy teams (when you weren't losing to them), but it's not like there's the Cavs are a force to be reckoned with some substantial percentage of the time.
i LOVE st. mary's ... always have, always will.

I like you. Let's go out sometime?

I lived in Lynchburg for 6 months and didn't know a single person, including people who went to Liberty, who cared about Liberty sports. If they make the tourney, I will be so angry.
Seth Curry left Liberty because he knew John Caleb would take all of his PT.
We should all be rooting for Liberty to win in Dayton and then beat Duke so we can end his college career.
And you knew me by internet, kinda. You should go check out the new baseball stadium.
For those of you who can still stomach college basketball today, a couple of #1s are in trouble in their conference semis - Stony Brook and MTSU both trailing with about 5 or so minutes left.
Stony Brook got completely hosed by the America East. Win the league, get to be the road team for a semifinal. Good job, good effort AE.
