Who designs Virginia Tech's helmets? They are all awful.
I do like the Newtown tribute, though.
I still lol at the thread from week 1 about him being a first round pick.
who started that so we can laugh at them?
LOL @ me for picking him up in fantasy. I don't think I used him a single time, but he wasted a spot on my bench most of the season.
eamhokie94: Is your name Nazi in pig Latin?
The Redskins should draft him in 2014, and make him a TE
I tried to find a thread on it but couldn't. Just the GT/VT thread from week 1 where literally every poster said analysts were idiots for having LT in the first round. Good call board.
I think Mel Kiper had him #4 in the draft in his preseason draft selection.
It was pretty much Mel Kiper who championed that nonsense. Even Tech fans were a bit WTF about it.

thats what you get when Mel Kiper sells his soul to NFL agent buddy friends.
"Some early draft projections had him ranked highly among quarterbacks because of his size and running ability, which have drawn comparisons to Cam Newton."
But not his passing ability.
Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas is returning for his senior season.
i can't believe he held some kind of announcement thing yesterday.
It wasn't far-fetched that he projected as a first-rounder coming into 2012. Prototype size, had the arm strength to make NFL throws. 59.3% completion %, 19/10 TD/INT ratio, 3000 passing yards, 450 rushing, 11 rushing TDs. That's half-decent as a first-year starter.
His throws and decision-making were generally terrible in 2012. I think a new OC will help, although it probably won't show too much since he'll only have one year in the new scheme. I still think he has first round potential. I bet he'll look better at the Combine and team workouts after his senior season.
