I never listen to the radio or watch E! and I know who Adele is. Probably has to do with, you know, reading.
Oh and being places with music playing like restaurants and bars. But I totally just sit around watching MTV all day.

I was wondering how a thread about Kate Upton on the radio could make it to two pages.
Makes more sense that it's a discussion about who Adele is instead of actually discussing Kate Upton on the radio.
I listened to this. I listened to this and it was awesome.
She slapped a bare titty on the microphone.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
reading about adele?
I know who most pop culture people are and can vaguely recognize their voices/songs, but I couldn't tell you the actual name of anything.
The only reason I'm aware of any music made after 2002 is because of my wife.
On the Suque, this thread might've received an upvote or 2
Why? I really have no interest in what a tit sounds like smacking against a microphone, although it is probably more interesting than anything she actually had to say.
b/c it doesn't have anything to do with sports.
oh there's rovell tweeting about kate upton again.
yeah, that's it.
11 year old daughter for me. Adelle has the best voice out there right now for my money.
None of you guys ever look at mags when checking out at CVS or Giant? First time I saw Adelle on the cover of People I was thinking "who is that mess and what is she doing bumping some hot chick off the cover?"
Do you guys not hang out in bars that have jukeboxes? In all genre of bars I've heard adele songs and pop princess songs and gaga songs. Even smoky old man bars. Not to mention how often Adele songs have been used on tv, commercials, movies, internet inside jokes, etc.
I was watching a James Bond movie on TV the other day and made a point of looking to see who was doing such a flat and wobbly job with the title song so I don't agree that she has a great voice and she's certainly not a great singer
I think my favorite was when we were in the smokiest bar of all time (grill actually immediately behind the bar, not even in a separate room- its awesome) and DaveJuice put 'Call Me Maybe' on the jukebox four times in a row.
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
How To Fail At Analogies 101
The point was taking someone who is near the top of one medium and using them in a medium where they have no value (Kate Upton's body vs talking, Adele's singing vs her body).
I got your back on this one IVWT
Most of the bars I spend time in are sports bars or bars in restaurants, so music isn't a big part of the scene there. I don't remember being in a bar recently where the music was something I really noticed. I was in one last week that had a juke box I noticed, but they had live music there, so no one played anything.
Plus, I'm sure I've heard songs from these people, I just wouldn't be able to identify it as such.
Yeah, but all that is background noise. I hear it but it doesn't register as specific to anyone.
Ironically, if you ever hear Adele talk, she sounds even dumber than Kate Upton
They have a great jukebox. Not really a jukebox though, but it seems to have a much wider selection than other touchscreen ones
on SVP now. And she sounds even dumber than I expected.
