I can take a little comfort in the fact that Duke had to sweat it out, but it actually is better for us that they won RPI-wise I would imagine.
I wonder if K would have risked fouling coming out of a Miami timeout, especially if Larkin had the ball. You risk 3 FTs instead of just a 3 point shot attempt.

K would've had Duke foul if Miami called the TO. Miami's average age on the court was 32, if there's any team that doesn't need to call timeout it's Miami.

Yeah, you figure it's a risk, but even from Miami's POV, even if they foul you and it's two, it still stops the clock again.. there was like 25 seconds left right?
Larranga definitely has to call the TO there to go over all scenarios.
I had no issue with the no timeout call.
After watching that game I feel much better about Miami long term than I do Duke.
