Have to look at intent. Mayo was more reckless than intentional. Brady was intending to injure. If that was a soccer game, Brady is getting murdered right now. That it's an unusual penalty does not make it any less offensive.
Hmm, when did he meet Giselle?
Tweets coming out that the lig is reviewing the kick slide.

NFL has made it clear intent doesn't matter.
I'm not talking about in terms of wanting a flag, I'm talking about in terms of which one was a shittier thing to do.
His point though, is that people establish a narrative and then find ways to fit the results into it.
Peyton Manning lost his first 4 playoff games, so then he was a choker who could never win the big one. No matter if his team was better in any of those games. From that point on, his wins were expected and any loss was an example of his choking, no matter how well he played or how much help he got from his teammates.
It doesnt even need to be helmet to helmet to be unnecessary roughness on a defenseless receiver. See Kam Chancellor vs Vernon Davis a month ago. The Pitta thing should have been called, as much as I hate that rule. It was worse than the Lewis hit that was flagged.

How many Super Bowls does Brady have with Baltimore's D the past decade?
This. Comparing the Pats defense of 2001-2005 vs the Pats defense of 2007-2013 they just aren't in the same league.
