Fuck Jerry, fuck Aikman, fuck Irvin, fuck Romo, fuck Sean Lee. Good luck guys. I also saw that Dallas cancelled outdoor practice yesterday because it was too snowy/icy, soft ass pussies. Oh and fuck Carlterp for obviousness.
Not a fan of either team but hoping one of my buddies may have an extra. Must see event, it's going to loud in there.
I honestly thought the Redskins had clinched the division last week.
So they need to either beat the Cowboys or hope both Chicago and Minnesota lose, right? Which means they probably need to beat the Cowboys because I can't imagine Chicago loses to Detroit, but who knows?
Should be a fun game to go to.
I could totally see the Bears losing to the Lions.
Wouldn't really surprise me if the Redskins lost and still snuck in the backdoor.
I think the Lions have sorta packed it in. They've been smoked their last few games.
If I were to bet I would bet on the Bears. I just wouldn't be surprised if the Lions rallied for the last game, against a rival, in a spoiler situation. The emphasis in the locker room will be ending the season on a high note to carry it in to next year. Also they can still put points up in a hurry if everything clicks. The Bears haven't been great for awhile either unless you count blowing out the Cardinals.
Like I said if I had to bet I would bet on the Bears but it wouldn't shock me in the least if Detroit won.
Agreed. I don't know why everyone assumes the Bears will win. That's going to be a tough game for them. The Lions have talent, have just massively underperformed and have had some bad luck. Would not surprise me in the least if the Bears and Vikings both lose.
The funny thing is the only scenario that allows us to clinch a wild card is also the only scenario that gives the Giants a chance, assuming they beat Philly. So if we've clinched a Wild Card entering Sunday night, we're most likely also determining the Giants' fate that night.
I agree with this, but I also wouldn't touch the game most likely barring a really sweet line.
I just think at the end of the day the Bears win that game by 10+ points in a situation in which they have to win.
I can't help but think back to the LOL Vikings losing to the Cardinals in like 2002 or something when that scrub ass Cardinals WR caught a pass from Josh McCown at the last second to knock the Vikings out of the playoffs. It'd be fun if that happened to the Bears.
Edit: Nathan Poole was that guy.

12/31/1972 Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys. NFC Championship Game. George Allen Sparks the Rivalry. Hail to the Redskins!!! (footage Redskins Legacy 2007 75th anniversary celebration)
1:25 in that video is the funniest ish ever.
i was in clearwater, FL for this game and everyone at the hotel bar was rooting for the redskins. it was hilarious.
i'm so f'n pumped for this game.
Two pages and no mention of all-time Chris Paul classic We Whoop On. Slippin'
WE GOT THAT BIG SKINS [OF]FENSE
AND THAT BIG MOMENTUM
GONNA PUT BIG CLEATS
UP INTO BIG D'S RECTUM
week 4 sorry my laptop wasnt uploadin it but my desk top did so its kinda late enjoy
Say Redskins lose this game, the Vikings lose to the Packers and then...
The same exact thing that happened in Week 1 last year happens. The Lions drive down field. Calvin Johnson scores the game winning TD that everyone with a set of eyes can see is a TD. And then the refs somehow blow the call after review and give the game to the Bears.
That would have to be the most dagger-possible way to get knocked out right? Like worse than fat fuck MSU?
Don't forget that the Redskins game is at 8:30 so we'll already know if we can sneak in with a loss or whether we have to win to be in.
Other than both those games being before our game at 8:20 P.M., yes, that would be a hypothetically awful thing.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
Ah didn't realize that. Crazy. For some reason I thought the game was at 1.
If ever there was a time to move a game to RFK it would be now.
It was originally at 1. We got flexed to 8:30.
And I think that this game is going to make people wax less nostalgic for RFK.
In other words, we all wax nostalgic for Cole because no place could possibly be as loud or as crazy. But for the rare game of monster fucking importance, Comcast is every bit as insane, if not more so.
Just like that example, FedEx is going to be 80,000 people going positively apeshit insane on Sunday night. As an earlier post said, no question if we still had 92,000 capacity that we'd fill that.

Well of course. But it's also in Landover. I think having the game in DC would be awesome. Even I might would have to root for teh Redskins then, it'd be infectious.
Oh, now you've started it...
Best game ever... until Sunday.
no matter what happens Sunday that 82 game will always be better.
I agree. As a fan of the game I would LOVE to be there Sunday night because its going to be a very, very special atmosphere
The atmosphere could be like that game. In 82, we'd never won a Super Bowl but we'd been pretty good in the 70s. While most skins fans remember '91, we have flat out sucked for most of the past 20 years. This Sunday has a similar feel to 82 in that we are taking a step forward. Not an NFC championship but a new era will be reality way faster than most hoped.
The flip side of that is that there is absolutely no more deflating feeling than being there for a devastating loss...
My worst game memory was watching Steve McNair single-handedly suck enough ass to lose to the Colts in 2006. That was the most hyped up Ravens stadium has been. Nothing sucks more than walking out after something like that. At least other similar games...MD/Wake in 2006, Caps/Pens Game 7, etc. were blowouts.
except for your posts...
and the Skins will win this...just a new vibe to this team.
As someone else said, as an OWG, this has the feelings of the 80s...the turning of a corner.

Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
