Kentucky had no top 50 wins WITH Noel. Unless something crazy happens - like them getting hot and winning 5 in a row, or beating UF to end the season - I don't see it happening.
I don't see it either. Just about anything they accomplished with Noel (which, granted, was not much) is now meaningless. They'll be judged on the next 3 weeks and from what we saw on Saturday against Tennessee, that doesn't bode well.
Go away, KA!
Does the NC State-FSU game matter much tonight? Didn't know what outcome helps more.
"Bubble team" games tonight:
Saint Louis - vs. VCU
Virginia - at Miami
North Carolina - at Ga Tech
Terps - at BC
Missouri - vs. Florida
Indiana State - vs. Wichita St.
can someone explain to me why arizona state is consistently being listed in ahead of us
I'm guessing because they swept Colorado (who seems to be one of this year's RPI gamers looking at their schedule real quick)
The one I don't get is Saint Mary's. 3 top 100 wins all season (two of which are in the 90s) is enough to not even be last 4 in?
I don't see how St. Mary's makes it without beating Gonzaga or Creighton.
Yeah they have beaten absolutely nobody idk
Kind of depends. If your goal is to try to catch NC State then an FSU win helps. If your goal is to try to avoid a bubble fight with FSU (which the Terps would lose) should FSU get hot then an NC State win helps.
FSU still has NC State twice, at UNC, and vs UVA. I can't see them finishing any better than 3-3 honestly, but UNC/UVA being bubble teams makes it interesting (and probably a good thing for us).
St. Louis and VCU will both probably get in so the result shouldn't matter. Hopefully UVA loses, and UNC wins. Missouri would pretty much lock up a bid with a win but if they lose they become a really interesting team to follow down the stretch.
And Im definitely rooting for NCST. We want that win to mean something and FSU becomes another team to battle if they win that one.

"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
why do we want unc to win?
Why are there so many ACC games tonight? I know in the past there would be 1 or 2 on a Tuesday but I always thought Wed was an ACC night, I see there are 4 games tonight.
I want them to win, because I think they are going to be a tournament team and I want our game against them to be a potential big win.
Definitely want NC State to win so that remains a quality win for us. FSU can fade into Bolivian.
I just realized the BC game was tonight. I'm totally not prepared for this.
I want NCST to stay in the top 25 RPI because it looks better for us.
OR....they could lose to some shitty teams, we can beat them anyway, make the tournament and LOL at them in the NIT.
This is bubble watch 101. If you're rooting for UNC or NC State you're Doing It Wrong.

I'd be curious to know if the season ended today who would get in first, UVA or MD. I like MD's case simply because they've shown their best is better than UVA's (although home vs. Duke and @ Wisconsin is close) and their worst isn't nearly as bad (FSU 2x compared to the 3 CAA losses). That obviously changes if UVA can pick up a win over Miami or Duke, though.
I don' t think there is any precedent for a team with an RPI in the 80s or 6 (SIX!) sub-100 losses getting in so I'm pretty confident that UVA wouldn't make the field.
i just want to remind everyone that UVA lost to 3-23 (1-13) Old Dominion
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
But it was without Jontel Evans!
Really? This is the first I've heard of it.
[jsh] I was hoping this was a thread about Adam Jones [fearthe noodle]
Impressive win for NC State against FSU.
Lots of bubble action about to tip off at 9 pm ET.
