I have just moved Tennessee to my first four out. The Vols had a bad practice today.
Doesn't it seem likely we are headed to a 7 seed in the ACC tournament? Assuming a loss at UVA than FSu would only need one win to catch us. But I guess in the dream scenario we are beating UVa and that would mean FSU needs two wins.
If I remember correctly, they changed the formula in the mid 2000s to weight road wins more, and home wins equally less. I'm pretty sure the inverse is true for losses. It's basically a method to get mids a better rpi since they rack up tons if mediocre road wins under the illusion of rewarding big teams for traveling.
IF UVA can win out, and Duke beats Carolina, UVA will be 3 seed
i know MD's season is pretty much over, but I love the fact at least they will play the 7 or 9 pm games on Thursday and Friday.
True...My original statement was just based on UNC winning, which would get them the 3 seed. If UNC loses both State and UVA have a shot at the 3.
Akron was probably a longshot bubble team if it didn't win the MAC tournament, but at any rate it won't be on the bubble any more after its starting PG was arrested today for marijuana trafficking.

umass/uva/kentucky all losing at the half
So, which teams are we hoping we'll join us in misery? Name names please.
Kentucky and UVA, obvs.
UVA is going to crush MD on sunday ... i hate typing that, i hate just envisioning it even more.
well UVA is losing to FSU. This may burst their bubble even if they beat us.
everything opening up for ole miss and tennessee
when the jump shots don't fall for UVA they can look pretty bad. but their defense will keep them in most games to an extent.
lol they're letting fsu shoot higher than 50% from the field
At least Selection Sunday will be a lot less gut-wrenching now.
lol @ this shit going in for FSU
UVA has the same losses as MD (@ BC, @ GT, soon @ FSU), except a few additional bad ones. but they have a few more good wins.
virginia is completely incapable of playing away from home and yet they pretty easily beat maryland at comcast

lol at the bubble
UVA and kentucky are pushing us to the NIT bubble now
FSU idiots are going to blow this
Im telling you we will beat UVA on Sunday
Butler up on UMass is solid, UMass needed this win.

don't do it to yourself. if the first game vs. UVA (@ COMCAST CENTER) was any indicator, this is going to be a blowout. MD didn't even show up on national TV last night in a must have game against UNC.
if anything i'd think MD fans would want UVA to win tonight b/c it would give the Terps a better win (of course assuming somehow MD could get one down in charlottesville) and UVA wouldn't be in a do or die situation.
but again it's all moot at this point.
