Only two games to really keep an eye on for tonight:
Kansas at Iowa State (Lunardi has Iowa State has a 10-seed but they still have work left to do. They still have to travel to Oklahoma and face OK State at home.)
Villanova at Seton Hall (Nova is probably on the right side of the bubble right now, but a loss to SH would certainly change that.)
I really wish we were getting Wake on Wednesday instead of GT.
seth used to be the man (and i know close with gary), but yeah i dunno what his problem has been. i know he likes turgeon, but that jab at him was unnecessary. comparing MD to wake is absurd. also his "last five in" and "first five out" are pretty hilarious. just picking the randomest of random teams.
the thing is if MD wants to be a part of the NCAA tourney, they should beat both teams on the road no matter who is coming off a win/loss/etc.
basically if we win the next 2 it becomes much more clear
I try to stay away from bracket predictions until conference championship week, but I looked at Yahoo's today and it has Indiana St and St Johns ahead of us. How is that even possible?
Yup. If they win these 2 they're on the right side of the bubble 7 days from now. But that's a ginormous if.
It's impossible to say this for sure. The next two wins are meaningless from a quality standpoint. The only way they jump ahead of teams this week is if those teams suffer bad losses.
question- how is charlotte even close to getting in at 6-6 in A10 and 18-8 overall? Jerry palm's bracket right now has 7 A10 teams in. WTF is that...i seriously hate mid majors sometimes
Edit: I can see how charlotte is on the bubble, but no way they should be ahead of us imo. Straight bs to think 7 A10 teams could get in. Sorry for the rant

This is pretty awesome. Crystal ball tracker tells you how your team can boost their RPI for the day. For Maryland, we're rooting for South Carolina State, UMES and Delaware State.
Find out which College Basketball teams need to win or lose to help your team's RPI each day with the Jerry Palm Reader.
UMES-Howard, battle of the 21 loss teams!
LET ME LOVE YOU DELAWARE STATE
another cool cbs tool is the team comparisons
Also the two teams with the longest current 20+ loss season streaks in Division I (11 straight 20+ loss seasons for UMES, 10 for Howard).

SCSt in OT, UMES and DelSt both down 6 late in 2nd...
all 3 lose
Elijah Johnson hits 2 freethrows with 5 seconds left and Lucifer misses at the buzzer. OT for Iowa St.
Villanova is probably going to escape ... Kansas-Iowa State headed to OT.

[hogie]for the most devastating maryland tease ever[/hogie]
That's a horrific loss for Nova.
Nova finishes at Pitt and home Gtown. If they lose both they have to be below us in a 3-1 scenario right?
