at least until one of these games is big enough to have its own thread?
Erick Green has picked an interesting game to have an off night.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
Now that he's got the scoring title and own ACC POY, I'm sure he wants to GTFO of Blacksburg immediately.
Thank God that season is over.
this is the first year as a terps fans where i'm thinking the same thing. just let it end.
while the summer will be long and painful to think MD missed the tourney for yet another season, MLB will help ease the pain a bit (as will the skins) and come october hopefully the Terrapins are ready to go.
Looking for the 'Skins to ease your pain is just asking for trouble - this from a 'Skins fan.

I can't wait until we have a vested interest in the B1G Tournament thread.
Just got home...didn't see either of the games. But surprised nothing here about Hanlan going for 41??
Oh I see, this didn't even get started until after the GT-BC game...guess everyone was working...
Electric atmosphere right now
I'd just like to state that NC basketball fans are garbage fans. They don't even show up unless their team is playing. And these are the supposed "super fans" of the ACC that warrant playing in Greensboro every year.
If it was two chump teams right now in the Big East tourney I know the garden would be dead too, but like you say the ACC tourney (especially in greensboro) is held up as some kind of paragon of basketball fandom.
FSU imploding by the way. They were up 15, now they're only up 7 with 45 seconds to go, Clemson shooting 3 free throws
FSU and the refs looking to keep it a game
FSU with an interesting strategy to keep fouling Clemson
This is hilarious. ACC!
FSU is just getting jobbed right now and it is awesome
Clemson has a chance now, down 2
Us and FSU win tomorrow and then we get revenge on teh Bunny Hamiltons to play in the ACC championship!

It's always pretty full on Friday, regardless of who's playing when, etc. Nobody's taking time off work to go watch 8 mediocre to garbage teams in Greensboro. If it gets to MSG eventually, I'd take 4-5 days and go see the whole tournament. But I can't justify doing it now.
And the conversation down here about the possible move to NYC is hiiiiiilarious. People are so defensive. Thamel took a lot of unnecessary shots at the area in that article but his point was correct.
It always looks relatively awful the first day because the Big East is a day ahead and their quarters are on at the same time, though. So all the good teams are playing there and the crowds have rolled in while this conference has stuff like BC/GT going.

I am sitting on my couch in my basement in sweats, watching the ACC tournament. I don't envision that scenario changing for the rest of the day.
I can't stand Odio for BC. Someone really needs to crush him when he tries to dunk next.
I am going over to big east tonight. Don't care about teams, but energy in a good night at the big east is awesome.
Went to the Garden last year for Big East QF and saw Louisville/Marquette and USF/ND just to go. It is such a great place for a postseason basketball game and the atmosphere was pretty good albeit it not being near full. Greensboro is a joke, but it caters to the NC teams and that's all that the conference cares about.
We're definitely beating Duke and UNC and then losing to BC on Sunday.
Who would have thought BC would be the most interesting part of the tournament?
