This gameday has been embarrassing. There are like 40 students there and Denard Robinson was equally as terrible and wont win any academy awards anytime soon.
The pit looks amazing
Just watched the end of Baylor/Kansas State on ESPN3. Bizarre finish, and the Big 12 Network production values make it look like the game is being played in 1978.
VT has the ball for the last shot in a tie game
I find it weird how the arena is rocking when I'd be nervous as hell and not talking.
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
OT on CSN
Funny watching Carolina and how their fans only stand up when a TV timeout is coming at the next dead ball. It's like they know they won't have to be up long and risk untucking their polo dress shirts and exposing them under their sweater vests
Holy off balance batman
Somewhat OT, but why do players dribble to the coach right before calling a timeout? Do you not get the ball in the front court once you cross half court?
Attending a game there was really weird because of that, especially since I was wayyyy up front. We all witnessed basically the greatest offensive performance ever and it was like they were afraid to cheer.
Anyways GT up by two with 3.5 seconds left in OT, VT has the ball. GT had possession with like 25 second left and scored to go ahead with about 5 seconds left
and holy shit broken play to win the game
2009 at Chapel Hill when it was like 113-96 or something?
I like how Seth Greenberg's face says "holy shit I'm a terrible coach and we didn't deserve to win that at all"
I'm always so upset whenever Seth has even the slightest moment of happiness.
yup, I got leftover tickets from the team and sat next to Bowie's dad (who was awesome) and the final was 109-91. We didn't even play that badly and still lost by 18
I was there with Momma Neal and a few others. We drove down after class and left after the game. Bowie's dad was awesome - he worked in the team house equipment room and was always a nice guy and fun to talk to
I did the same thing, got back to College Park at like 3:30...it was miserable
Go Hokies. So rewarding to beat quite possibly the worst team in the league at home and it only took overtime and a last-second buzzer beater.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
Am I the only one that heard Mike Hogwood say Erick Green is a first-team all-ACC player? Did I really hear that?

Yea that was funny. Vt's last 3 games....buzzer beater to beat bc at home, buzzer beater loss to fsu, buzzer beater to beat gt at home lol. GT is somehow 8-17....that is absurd
Got Back Pain and ready to leave it behind? www.isostrength.com
They just described how St. Mary's got to Murray State. They flew from Oakland to Kansas City. Then from Kansas City to Nashville. They stayed the night in Nashville, practiced there, and then drove the two hours to bumfuck Kentucky for the game.
So, anyone want to score for Illinois?
Nebraska went on a 40-2 run against Illinois.
lol Dick Vitale making the argument that a .500 team from a big conference shouldn't make the tournament. Ever. He wasn't saying that SOMETIMES a .500 team shouldn't make it, he was saying that a .500 team should never make it.
I think you made that up?
lol yes i did hear that. They were saying he was All-ACC all game long (which I agree with), but then he blurted out 1st team later in the game (which nobody agrees with)
