Agreed with some of the thought process but I don't think there is much incentive for any teams to trade up at the moment, especially to #8. Who knows though, there might be a team that is really wants someone like Carter Williams and decides to pull the trigger. Feel like it's going to be a draft day thing, though.
If we manage to sneak to #3, might be worth it to take Porter and call it a day.
McLemore isn't a mistake at 1, I just don' think Charlotte should take him. So many other needs.
I'm not sold on Smart. I think there are two very solid PG options just below him in Burke and Carter Williams.
Maybe New Orleans forgets they drafted Davis and goes for the Terps connection!
Davis is a four anyways so thatd be dope. Awesome picture btw. How did you make it? Photoshop?
Well rivers sucks and gordon is an injury machine. But I agree they have more needs than pg
So how high of a pick do you think 3 million gets you this year? I know a handful of teams at the back of the 1st round will sell their pick because they don't want to give out a guaranteed contract, but I wonder with a weaker draft class if we'll see a team favor the cash to a pick earlier on
I think it's kind of unrespectful- Ovie
Marcus Smart staying in school
I don't get this at all. He is a flawed top 5 pick. He isn't returning to a legit title contender. This has to be a 6-7MM mistake.
Shut the fuck up!
He's doing what he wants to do.
Who knew Mike Wise could be funny?
"Hence, the NBA draft has become like investing in a Greek mutual fund: In both cases, you have no idea whether your Euro will be worth anything in three years."
COLUMN | Alex Len becomes latest unfinished product to enter NBA draft, but hes not the one to blame.
They have the Wizards taking Zeller at #7 and Archie Goodwin and Reggie Bullock in the 2nd round. Wouldn't be a bad draft but I want Anthony Bennett.

If Ernie drafts Gobert, I'm firebombing his house.
It is the business walk of the biggest, baddest bear in the national park happening upon an abandoned picnic.
Anyone who takes Rudy Gobert over Len is a Rudy Gobert.
I forget where I read it, but the best line on Gobert is "If the guy's ceiling is Isaiah Austin, why not just draft Isaiah Austin?"
There was a touching photo of his dad calling him to discuss the decision...
This. Gobert and Vesely on the same team would make the universe explode
Wiz move into a tie for 7th. Coin flip will determine whether they get 7th or 8th.
You ready for this coin flip, Detroit??? What you know about tails son!
there is an amazing amount of 7 footers in this year's draft. Seems to conflict a bit with the universal claim that it's a weak draft.
The draft is really bad from 1-3 but I don't think it's that awful from 5-10.
The consensus #1 pick is an undersized big who averaged 10 points a game as a freshman on a pretty bad team and will miss most, if not all, of the next season. That is pretty much as far as you have to go to label it a weak draft.
Even if it churns out some good players in the middle of the first.
Nikoloz Tskitishvili was a 7 foot tall too.
You can find some talent in this draft, but it is still really bad. I honestly think burke should be higher on most teams boards. Pg for the future for orlando or charlotte. Get your superstar next year. Noel is good and I'd take him number one. But I dont trust mclemore at all
2011 is stil worse. At least you can get someone decent at #6.
McLemore odesn't measure very well except for his leaping ability. But he can hit the perimeter jumper fairly regular. So he good for that. Porter doesn't measure well either. We'll see.
