    What I remember about Keenan was that he lost his mind after winning the Stanley Cup and basically convinced himself that in order to win you needed 21 Stefan Matteau's. He forgot that the team that carried the Rangers to the Cup was actually super talented as well. He became a really bad coach at the end and destroyed a couple franchises.

    Torts is more like, just an asshole. It's like he thinks he's still playing with all this "I'm so focused on winning I have no time for the media." That's good man, but guess what...you don't ACTUALLY play on the team. It's really ridiculous.

    He also loves to make himself the biggest star of the series/team which I've always just deeply disliked.

    Both have ego's that are completely out of control.

    Just watching SportCenter and I love how Linda Cohn had to do the highlights since she is such a Ranger fan girl. I LOL when she inserted her own opinion something to the effect of according to a league source 'remarkably Ovechkin, a repeat offender, won't be disciplined' for his hit as if some crime had been committed. STFU bitch and just tell the story without your biased opinions.

    Indeed!!! I don't want to see ANY hockey player's fate in his incompetent hands, even opposition, in the interest of fairness and consistency. He's been brutal, and has to go, period.

  • I saw the Linda Cohn segment and it was as bad as Magoo said. She even added that Callahan was tripped before the puck got to Wideman to pass to Green for the game winner.

    I'm sure the NY media can be overbearing at times, but you can't act like that. Was he mad at his team, the call on Ovie, Lundvist, who knows. He has something against the Caps based on that snippet on 24/7 this year, I guess he thinks they don't work hard enough to win. I think Backy showed him something yesterday

    Not sure where the Rangers and their fans think they've been screwed in this series. I can name just as many times that Blueshirts should have been called for penalties over the four games as they think should have been called on Washington. To top it all off, there is one immutable law in Stanley Cup playoff games: The Caps Never Get A Power Play In Overtime.

    Noo Yackers....STFU.

    however, every team gets calls that go their way and calls that don't. I remember tim thomas punching brouwer(?) and not getting it called and then i believe game 6 when chimera got rocked by the bench 100 feet from the puck and no call was made. Let's not act like it doesn't go both ways.
