Baltimore Ravens are Maryland's team

  • I don't know what is so hard to understand about that. The redskins are more virginia than they are MD.

    Everything the redskins do is basically in that shit hole state of va. The Ravens do everything in MD.

    They are the flagship team. They have the state flag on on their jerseys. The redskins are DC/va. The Ravens are MD.

    Face facts, the Redskins probably have a comparable amount of fans in Maryland as the Ravens do. Obviously that's shifting as kids in the Baltimore-leaning parts of Maryland now grow up with a team, and the Redskins have been such utter trash for the better part of the last 20 years. Hopefully that turns around soon.

    Regardless, there always has been and always has been a large chunk of Maryland that never has and never will give a damn about the city of Baltimore. I'm thankful every day that I realized I was in that group from an early age.

    Nothing groundbreaking here. Some people in Maryland identify more with DC and some with Baltimore but we can all agree that those in the state who don't give a shit about DC or Baltimore probably root for the Steelers and are horrible people.

    This thread is definitely a trolling attempt, but Howard County is 95% Baltimore bro. They love the ravens here. any redskin success wouldn't change that.

    I fully understand that's the case right now. But back when I was in high school there, the Ravens had just come to town, and literally none of my high school friends are Ravens fans.
