I think they can beat the Browns easily with Batch. Doubtful they win a playoff game with Batch if Ben gets hurt worse.

Agreed. Cleveland should have won in Pittsburgh. That game will be a dogfight. Very little chance they win "easily" with Batch or Ben and a loss would not surprise me at all.

Apparently, Ben isn't happy about it, either. If the Steelers want to go back to their glory days and play smashmouth football, they better find an offensive line and a RB.

Steelers have SO much money tied up in old defensive players. This is an offensive league. Ben is a top QB and I love the young wide receivers, but the offensive line is a joke. They need to make a big investment in the offense but they can't because of all the huge contracts on the other side of the ball.

From Ed Bouchette, you have these players that are untouchable:Troy Polamalu ($7.5 million), LaMarr Woodley ($9 million), James Harrison ($6.57 million), Ike Taylor ($6 million), Brett Keisel ($2.82 million), safety Ryan Clark ($3 million) and Lawrence Timmons ($5.37 million). You also have guys like Casey Hampton ($4.89 million), Larry Foote ($3 million) and James Farrior ($2.82 million) that are probably strong candidates to be released but because of depth issues you could see them being kept on.

So where does the money come from to make the offense better?
