One other thing that the golf media needs to stop doing is comparing Rory's current run of top 5 finishes with the great runs that Tiger had. Rory's run is great, but it doesn't even compare to TWs great runs.

These runs are consecutive weeks:

That's just a small sampling from the early years. There are runs in the 2005-2009 years that are equally impressive.

Tiger just raped 18. If the wind stays relatively calm tomorrow, a lot of low numbers should be out there - at least enough to make Bubba/Rose sweat a bit.

watson's 5 strokes clear of 4th place and i still don't feel like he's going to win.

Ought to be a fun final round. Tiger at -9 with McIlroy, Donald, Kaymer, Schwartzel and Simpson (3 of top 4 in world). Any one of these guys could go out early and post a low score to put pressure on seven players ahead of them. However, I think there are too many good players ahead of them to leap past all of them and win. I like Bradley's chances if Watson slips.

I agree. I think he pretty much hits the bulls-eye for "easy to dislike if you're an American" though. He rose to superstar status exceptionally quickly at a time when everyone was looking for a rival to Tiger, but then never won a major and became a really easy target, played brilliantly against the Americans in the Ryder Cup, whines a lot, etc.

At the same time, he seems like he's mellowed a bit from his younger days and seems like he's gotten a lot more likable in recent years.
