Crazy rumor going around Twitter that Arsenal are looking to finalize a 13 mil Euro move for Olivier Giroud. Chamakh may be loaned or sold back as part of compensation. Holy left footed striker Batman! I'm not so sure on this one...

Yeah I don't know what to think about it. Its actually like 8m + Chamakh. Giroud looks like a replacement for RVP, but then Chamakh is leaving so that would leave us short on numbers so maybe RVP is staying. Either way I guess I would like the deal.

He's something I've been thinking about: Is it time for Arsenal to sell Walcott, especially now that they have Ox? Or is it too early to give up on Theo? Theo had that great start in 2010-2011 and has only show flashes since.

Juventus wants Theo and I bet he goes for a good sum. I'd personally sell him. I like Ox a ton and I think Gervinho will be much better next year.

As a spurs fan have to wonder...
1) while Adebayor seems to really enjoy playing at Tottenham, can they really get a wage worked out?
2) is there any chance in hell of keeping Bale and or Modric?
3) are they ever going to close the deal for the Ajax captain on the defensive line?
4) any other rumors going around besides VDV to Schalke?

1 - Probably
2 - Yes, only for a year or two
3 - Yes, there is a difference in fees between the two clubs but I bet it gets done
4 - Modric to Man U is all I've seen

This doesn't make any sense. i thought Ade was being given away along as the club picks up his weekly wage (which has been the only sticking point with the Spurs for a year - his weekly wage).

I agree. I think he's a one trick pony. City need speed on the wing, but I wouldn't pay a fortune for Bale. I would look for cheaper options.

I haven't heard anything of that nature. Not sure. I would be shocked if that was true. I think Mancini is one of Nasri's biggest fans.

Because they have been trying to give him away for nearly 2 years and just want his weekly salary off of the books. How else do you explain him being loaned to Spurs with City paying his wages?

If they were going to give him away he would have been gone two years ago. I don't know the exact arrangement they had with spurs, but I think they were only supplementing part of his wages. Do you think Spurs just had him for free last year?

Doesn't exactly sound like a done deal, but seems to be some interest. If I'm an Arsenal fan I am beginning to get worried about RVP.
