just give me a sandwich description i might find below it on a menu, thanks. i don't need to read everyones process and thought process - not that i did.

Toogs check the email. I had sent a small change that isn't reflected. Not sure if it will impact medals.

I'll just post some comments in this thread since it's fucking early out here and I didn't have a chance to get any in to Toogs.

I thought judging the written description was by far the hardest part, as there weren't really any specific guidelines. I just sort of averaged color/entertainment value with detail/organization, and tried to keep the pics out of my mind (sorry Chad, but they did boost your perceived taste score as if it needed any help).

I made sure not to total my scores until after submission, but it looks pretty close overall to which sandwiches I was most impressed by/would most like to devour. There were a few outliers though, because some of you assholes reaaallly a new camera. Bit of a bummer that some sandwiches I thought would be really good practically punted 1/3 of their score because they didn't put much effort into overall presentation.

Shame on Russia. Though I guess we may be in need of a replacement for Ferrara after this year.

The rules said to provide a description of ingredients and how it's made. Thought process was unnecessary though.

Crab cakes turned into pickled Asian dishes are not crab cakes.

I haven't seen a single crab cake in this competition.
