I think this has potential, and I like that the show just dropped into it what it is as opposed to doing a more traditional origin (this guy is X and his job is Y, etc.) pilot.

The writing was excellent. It has potential because of that.

Everyone of you should watch the movie In The Loop if you're interested in this show at all. This series is basically a spin off of the movie and the show it's based on, The Thick of It. I loved the first episode of Veep, brilliant farcical, political humor.

Good God, do something better with your life (although, it was a pretty good movie).

Everyone should watch 'The Thick of It', the show that In the Loop is based on. All of them are on youtube, I think. Much, much better than the movie, and Malcolm Tucker says (screams) some absolutely shocking things. K, that's enough preaching about the virtues of British television. Carry on; Veep is going to be great.
