If you go to weather.com and go to their interactive radar, click the "next 6 hours" button. It shows a pretty ridiculous, huge line of violent weather cutting right through NOVA/DC/MD/PA.

My wife just called and said that we're going to go tonight to some outdoor fair or something by Springfield Mall. I'm pretty sure I'm about to experience the opening sequence of some made-for-Syfy Channel movie.

Storms really erupting to the south and streaming this way. Pretty nasty storm just south of DC right now. Radar really filling in with sun peeking out. I'd be more concerned about these isolated storms rather than the line of storms later. There will be bad wind with those most likely, but the tornado threat is mostly just with these isolated cells well ahead of cold front.
