Please tell me Shenanigan's has goofy shit hanging all over the walls.

I totally agree on the unapproachable point, Somehow I got lucky there one night, but for the most part it's Ballroom or bust. Mister Days and Sign are the Bentley's of Arlington and D.C. respectively, and not in a good way.

I don't know who owns Shenanigans, but when it was McNasty's, it was basically Thirsty Turtle 2.0 as it had the same owners. They even had some of the wall decorations, so it was cool to see the Pissing Turtle in the middle of Adams Morgan.

It was called Leaky Faucet for a about about a year I think.

That place used to just be a cheap dive for hard drinkers in their 40s and 50s, but now Arlington douchebags have "discovered" it so they crowd the place. If Arlington bars were beers, Jay's would be PBR.
