That is so dumb. I understand having to be a few feet from entrances to buildings but a total ban is ridiculous.

I hate smoking plenty but this is way too far. lol @ "limited area" and enforcement too.

Most high schools have had rules like this forever. It shouldn't impact the coming generations much.. the ones who insist on smoking will still do it. They're used to it.

High schools and college campuses are very different beasts. It's the right thing to do at a high school and completely wrong at a college.

i would venture at least a third of my friends/acquaintances smoke, and i'm none of those things

Randy Edsall is infinitely worse for my health than secondhand smoke, and yet he roams the campus unimpeded by law or justice.

I'd just love to see a big donor get cited by Tau or some other donk for lighting up a cigar during a football tailgate.

College is the time for reckless experimentation. Cigarettes, booze, JAPs, dp dough. I feel sorry for kids that are having that experience taken away.
