One of my guy friends is now facing a separation/divorce. He needs to see an attorney as soon as possible because there is signficant property, income, and child issues at stake. I have every reason to believe it's not going to be an easy negotiation and it's going to take some time. He needs someone very skilled at protecting assets and ready to litigate, if it come to that. He also needs someone that can handle a child custody dispute because I suspect that's going to happen as well. It's not a contested divorce.. and there are no grounds.. no adultery.. and they have actually been separated (without a legal separation agreement) for quite some time. So, this is all about child support, alimony, property and other assets.
I figured since this is a male-dominated environment, some of you would know some attorneys that you would either definitely recommend or tell him to steer clear of altogether. He lives in Howard County, so it is definitely beneficial to get a recommendation for someone closer to where he lives.

Because I like you guys, I'm going to let you in on a secret. Please don't tell anyone, especially Rick jaclitsch that I gave this info away. You know those lawyers and Drs that make the "top lists"? It's advertising. Yep, it's paid for. I laugh every time I hear it.
