In their first ever BCS Bowl, the #4 UAB Blazers destroy the Pitt Panthers, 56-0, in a rain soaked Orange Bowl. Led by their defense, who had 6 INTs and 1 fumble recovery, the Blazers were fast out of the gates, scoring on the very first offensive play with a 60+ yd run by RB Jamal Harris, who rushed for 112 yds and 4 TD. Despite 2 INTs, QB Anthony Cook had a solid game, throwing for 277 yards and 2 TDs on 13/19 attempts, and ran for a total of 12 yards and 1 TD. As mentioned before the Blazer defense, who were the anchors of the team all season, bothered the Pitt QB all game, collecting 6 INTs (3 by linemen), though there were not able to get any sacks.
This capped off the best season in UAB football history and only but assures the team a top 3 ranking.

USM defeats Ohio State 34-18 in the ticketcity bowl
QB Cj Edmonds went out on top, earning POTG honors for his 3 rushing tds but the real player of the game was Senior DT Nate Hill. Hill had 4.5 sacks (all in the first half) and led the team with 7 total tackles. Sophomore safety (and Rosedale, Maryland product) George Clark picked off a pass to show this team why he will be the defensive captain next season.
USM gets its 10th win and the loss pushes ohio state to 6-7.
Recruiting has gone better than expected for a 3 loss team, with the golden eagles looking to secure as many as 5 commitments in week one of recruiting, including two more 4* players.

I'm definitely still in for at least this upcoming season. Jackson & Jackson are gonna be sick.
Lost my top 3 receivers to the draft/graduation. Have some pretty good freshmen coming in, but I don't think they'll be able to match all the speed I lost. I'm going to miss Colt Heath like hell.
Week 1 of recruiting should be up in a few. There's only 4 of us so let's fly through this thing.

I think "custom conferences" comes at the end of the offseason...Terpito should be able to juggle some things...I know you can make it have a minimum of 4 teams in a conference...which would be interesting in itself.

We are ready to sim. I came into offseason recruiting with the #101 class, 7 3*'s and 1 1*. I only had one player left and my recruiting board and he will likely commit to teh Terpitos this week. Lets see if I can pull another miracle close this year
