    +1, if it's weighed on that at all, any chance we didn't finish in the bottom 2-3 is gone.

    One thing to root for, the judges rarely listen or do what they are told.

    Yeah- funny stuff goes viral, but the original has to be funny outside this board to go viral outside this board, which is what we tried to be careful about.

    Maybe should wait to debate this, but isn't the pic funny, which makes others want to use it for their in-jokes? That's why there are meme generation sites? I don't know. Again, glad I am not a judge.

    The clarification I got from the IOC is that the original meme should be something from the board that could have wide appeal outside the board and that the adapted meme should be applied to the messageboard here and potentially be used widely on the board here.

    Imitation is The Sincerest Form of Flattery - Submissions must be received by Monday, 7/2 at 7pm.
    For this competition, each team will submit TWO newly created board memes. Use of an established/poached meme will be disqualification. Each team must submit two newly created boards/Terp related memes One should be be an original work and one an adapted work (clarification to follow). The memes may be a collaborative effort by the country, but only two memes may be submitted (one per category). Please submit entries to suqueolympics @ gmail.com. Both memes will be ranked 1-10 based on humor/creativity and potential to go viral, scores will be averaged and Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded accordingly.

    Original Meme - Entries must take a boards/terp related picture and create an original meme.

  • I have no clue how the judges are going to decide on the bitching competition. So many heavyweights throwing nonstop haymakers. I think we can hold our own, though.
