Paul, I would never have considered backing out of that. When you accepted, I actually had changed my mind but since you had already ended your turn I just went with it. Looks like I should have run you over. We never had a chance. All of our hope the entire game was pinned on a truce in the south.

Unfortunately your placement coupled with your first move put you in a tough spot. I may have considered shoring up your defense and seeing how the situation north of you played out since it was very fluid rather than leave you so thin, but I understand why you did it. Once you came through the mid stair passage, it really left Bogie and myself little option but to expand that way and that meant inevitably going at you and vice versa.

I hope I get a turn in before 3PM tomorrow or else this is going to llaaaaggggg.
