Official "Work on Monday after the Super Bowl Blows" Thread

Will never happen. Sunday night is much better for TV ratings. Casual fans are less likely to stay in on a Saturday night and watch. And these viewers are worth more than those out at bars since they pay more attention to commercials.

I did like Goodell's proposal to expand the schedule to 18 games, and push the Super Bowl back to Presidents' weekend.

Maybe, but lets be honest, there are enough serious football fans out there that it doesn't matter if it's on Saturday night, people will watch. This year is a perfect example. Even though everyone that's not a Giants or Pats fan hated the matchup, everyone that's a serious sports fans that I know watched anyways, and that'll be true if the game is on Saturday night, Sunday night, or Tuesday afternoon.....throw in the fact that, if done right, you could make a legit party night out of it, and it seems like a no brainer
