I had never tried or heard of Chimay when trying a new restaurant the other night. Had 4 on tap Chimays and was shocked when the bill came, they were $7.50 a piece. Most expensive draft I've ever purchased.

Actually, I liked it, but not for $7.50. I did get a descent buzz though.

Why are you such a hater? Chimay is delicious by any standard.

had a Lagunitas Sucks the other day, that was delicious. Southern Tier Porter is probably my favorite beer of the moment.

My post-work beer bar had a special where they were putting fresh hops into beers if you knew about it and asked. Anyone ever done this? hops put into the bottom of the glass, beer poured over it. Had it with a Peak King Crimson IPA -- really made the finish last somethin' unbelievably long, of course. And really brought out the dark fruit flavors.

They are perfectly fine.

And talk about sticker shock, I was at Carroll's Creek a few weeks ago and saw they had Orval so I said why not. $12 a pop, 2 each between 3 of us.

And they served it in the wrong glass.

I have seen Dogfish use something called "The Randalizer" , and they sell one called a Randall Jr that lets you infuse hops, fresh fruit, herbs whatever into beer. Ive never tried it personally but some of the collaborations they put on twitter seem really interesting.

I missed two out of 10 and a few of those I got because I just figured out the best sounding answer (like "two williams"). And I know a lot about beer compared to the people who will be taking it. It's too difficult, the questions are pretty random and needlessly obscure.
