Havent had Alpine Spring on tap yet, but the bottle is decent. Heavy on the citrus though, so headsup if that is not your thing.

Broke out the good stuff last night: Three Floyds Dreadnaught and Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast (Bourbon Edition). Held onto the Dreadnaught a little too long as it lost a little bit of its hoppiness. The Mikkeller had a nice, smooth finish.

I hadn't been to DFH in Gaithersburg in awhile...like the expanded tap availability. Had the Noble Rot....tastes like a chardonnay, but not bad.

BTW...The Heavy Seas Ale House is open in Baltimore near Little Italy/Harbor East and all i can say is awesome! 8 of their beers on tap plus two on cask. Bonus, the food is awesome and includes a full raw bar. Outdoor beer garden to open in March.

I want to try some sours so keep that in mind, otherwise I like pretty much all styles.

Not really an issue. I'm going away for a month in April so I'm going to load up and really enjoy myself beer wise. With that said, no suggestions I would need to cellar either.

I tried the Dogfish Head/Sierra Nevada collaboration "Life and Limb" last night, with the MD/Miami game. It is listed as a strong ale, but really comes through more like a barley wine. The maple syrup, and birch root are pronounced- it is a SWEET, heavy beer. Nice to try a bomber of it, but no way you would want a 2nd.
