Coworker just gave me a bottle of Founders Breakfast Stout. Will have to save that for the fall. Anyone know when CBS is supposed to come out?

I only had a half liter since I had to drive home. Plus I had a giant plate of sausage, potato salad, and saurkraut to eat, and didn't think my stomach could physically hold any more. But I think I could drink that stuff all day. So delicious.

I went to Corridor at lunch today- bought a bomber of the delicious and potent Southern Tier "Pumking", as well as a 6er of Starr Hill "Box Car Pumpkin Porter". Should be delicious.

Had some awesome single hop beers at Frisco tonight. Got hammered on the price, though.

On first sip or two i liked it but after that the sweetness really wore on me. I don't necessarily think it was over spiced, just too sweet. Maybe too heavy on the brown sugar or maybe that is par for course with this beer. I drank one and that was enough for me, might have gone better paired with food to offset the sweetness. I also had a alehouse 75 and a stout. I ended up buying a shirt (for charity) that actually says punkin
ale on it even though it definitely isn't one of my favorites.

If you like hoppy beers, they have 20 different Mikkellers Single Hop Beers.
Id recommend Mikkeller Warrior or Columbus
There are also a ton of IPAs by other great breweries such as Stone & Troegs

Agreed. I've been into DFH's Indian Brown Ale lately. Good stuff but has me busting some pretty serious ass this morning.

The Southern Tier Pumking was really, really good. $6.99 for a 22oz at Corridor, but I'll say it was worth it, delicious.
I believe Blue Moon's "Harvest Moon" comes out today. By far the best of the Blue Moon/Coors family.

Fat Tire has hit the East Coast. I'm not making a statement as to what I think about it, but rather about distribution. I've seen it everywhere the last two days, from my local liquor store to the chain restaraunt I stopped in tonight.

Had some cask conditioned Raven Lager at DuClaw's Real Ale Fest last weekend. F'ing awesome.
Also the Brewer's Art Mad Dog (or something "dog" as someone had taken the sign) was quite tasty as was the DuClaw double dry hopped Venom APA.

Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale- LOTS of spices, I really liked it a lot but definitely not for everybody. A very heavy cinnamon/nutmeg taste. Seems to get terrible reviews but I enjoyed it.
Fishermans Pumpkin Stout- much more subtle on the pumpkin flavoring and obviously a heavier beer being a stout. Left a very pleasant aftertaste, initially tasting a bit like a sweeter coffee.

Shipyard has a rep for being poorly made and I have some that have an overwhelming presence of diacetyl.

a local liquor store sells Paulaner Oktoberfest minikegs and PaulUMD always requests one, although now that I've moved I haven't found one for a good price. Had a few this morning/afternoon, a great tailgate brew

Has anyone tried the DFH Punkin Ale this year? I remember last year's batch not being quite as good as the year before. Thinking about picking up a case this time.
